You’d still have the problem that everyone has to pretend the 12th best team in the league is worthy of the championship. It’s the same problem MLB now has - you could have the third place team in a division get a wildcard and then win the Series, how is that type of champion good for the sport?
But you’re skipping past the obvious:
What, exactly, is he going to do that’s worth $3M of cap space? Why do teams not hire special QB coaches for these tasks?
I wonder if there’s ever been a 3-pitch inning where the batter was justified in swinging away. Like... single - fielder’s choice - double play, all on first pitches of the AB. Less likely single - single - triple play. but still, some variation must have happened, right?

One way is designed to reinforce the system, the other way is designed to pad the cop’s statistics.
Your example is still chosing between a finite list of offerings to be able to “play MOBA”.
As you say, someone decides which version of basketball is legit. There is only one version of Starcraft 2. Blizzard dictates what is legit. It’s the origin of the one version that’s quite different for these types of games.

If this is protected free speech then we can get rid of the 2nd Amendment and all its complicated debates; anything you could do with a gun would be covered under the 1st Amendment.
Maybe you can pick up a 2nd round pick from the Texans in the deal.
WinDanceRepeat? Repeat what? Getting swept out of the playoffs in the first round?
