As a player who likes to use marksman/sniper rifles, I have to disagree with your opinion of the Pulse skill! Lighting effects and dust particles cause me all kiiinds of sight problems when looking down a scope. Having a close-quarters friend pop the pulse skill while they’re in the thick of it helps me out sooo damn…

Man, I just had no idea this kind of business model existed/could work. I hope more indie studios do this and create a collective. The game dev industry needs this sort of revamping.

This sounds like a rad way to run a business. Like, it requires a lot of personal give and take, but I think that’s good. It requires a lot of common sense when, as Scott put it, needing to defer to someone else’s judgement because it’s their area of expertise.

Lol, this bug happens to me all the time! I thought I was crazy, or that I hadn’t read the fine-print details hidden somewhere in the UI.

Maaaan, I couldn’t believe how good Project Stream turned out to be. I have a seven-year old chromebook that has pretty much no graphics card to speak of, and yet it ran ACO like a dream. This will be a game-changer for folks who aren’t able to spend a lot of money for new devices.

That’s a pretty good take, actually.

I hope that it’s not as “hopeless” as DD. That’s ultimately what turned me off from it. Games where your objective is to manage increasingly-bad situations, like DD and This War of Mine, stress me out too much. 

It makes my head shudder uncontrollably!

I’m always surprised at how strongly the city of Philly has quickly come to love Gritty. I mean, look at how juiced that crowd is when he comes out, even in just the gif alone (except for, like, that one guy). Gritty’s more than just a mascot. He’s an icon.

No joke, a great “challenge mode” my brothers and I would do would be to leave one of the controllers unused but give that character the board that gave them a never-ending jet booster. They would zoom ahead, hit a wall, and slowly turn until they zoomed forward again. It was always a blast trying to race them.

But fr, Apex’s ping system is a godsend.
