Just one anecdote but the map seems to track well with my experience at my off grid property, where one carrier works well and the others vary between nothing and tenuous. For the one that works it even shows the dead spot where I always lose my streaming music when driving or especially when biking to town.

Me too, with Final Fantasy Adventures 1, 2, and 3. I imagine I’d have to replace the batteries in the carts.  I no longer have my NES but I do still have my PS1 with the disc-based re-releases of FF 1+2, FF4 + Chrono Trigger, and FF 5+6. Also still have the original SNES with FF2US (FF4) and FF3US (FF6).
