I’ve found myself wondering how it is that Trump, given his long standing behavior as an asshole womanizer, had never pressured a woman towards/paid for an abortion. The guy was all over the place from the 70s-00s... Granted, there are the descriptions of his actual love life being less epic than he’d describe it

We did this here in Philly a few years ago, minor drug arrests dropped by 90%. Fewer small time arrests = fewer people in the justice system = better chance for people to live a normal life... oh, and it actually saves a lot of money.

I’m sure there are dozens of people lined up to give up their house or senate seats to work in this administration. Dozens!

I believe you meant sonos.

Which is kind of funny, if you think that he may have gotten less flack over a $25000 flight that has a bunch of staffed onboard too.

Is there a reason the officer was unnamed?

The Dulles to Philly flight boggles the mind. That’s $20,000, 40 minute flight versus an $120, hour and half train ride (which picks you up and drops you off in the center of each respective city)... so he’s wasting thousands and thousands of dollars for the benefit of a less convenient travel plan. But hey, that

Might I add that if you happen to live in an area with any connection to an Amish population, stroopwafles make excellent covers for coffee/tea mugs, warming up as the tea steeps. Oh and they are fucking delicious, especially if you’re doing a fall/cinnamon tea/hot toddy sort of thing.

My point was that taxing the rich to pay for social programs that benefit the public is a pretty popular proposition.

Today is not all that different than pre ACA days. It was built to be the least distruptive expansion in coverage with our current payer system. It was health finance reform masquerading as health care reform.

I don’t see how anything that I just described has anything to do with selling out minorities. But thank you for proving my point that we can’t even discuss policy options without someone (on the same side) being lumped in as the enemy.

Yep, that would be the one. What’s your point?

I’m for health care for all, but not sure single payer is a realistic answer (it has no chance of becoming a reality in any foreseeable future). It’s probably the cleanest, most efficient model, and people can campaign on whatever they want, but I don’t think we should shit on people who consider some thing else

I’m more curious as to how many of those obstacles could withstand my athleticism. (Read: not collapse under my immense weight)

“And now I will grill standing in a big puddle”

*that we know of

What about Republican climate change deniers ?

Nice. I assume that was done with the designers permission, which is much Better than me going to a random print shop.

Politicians may only care about ideology, but people care about efficiency. Just ask anyone who has paid for unnecessary MRIs, or (in our current model) employers that have to fund health insurance products. Those inefficiencies drive costs up for everyone.
