I LOVE everything about the Liberty University sports programs. One thing I find odd about the entire “Remakes suck” takes is that it seems to completely ignore that the vast majority of cultural offerings are... remakes. The ‘originals’ that people love are often just remakes of some long ago (or not!) source material.

We had a decent wrestling program in my high school. I’ll never forget the guys eating rice cakes with maraschino cherries for a day or two to make weight. We had a guy jogging around our gym for an hour in a self made sweat suit (garbage bags). Looking back, who was allowing that?

I cannot for the life of me figure out why child care is so expensive. It’s not like they pay the staff a ton, or have tons of staff, or have wealthy owners... is it just insurance?

We have the whistle, mostly because our dog likes to roam at times, and it seems pretty accurate. The only major issue is the battery life.
