I say this as someone with two decades in the health care system - anyone who defends our current system is either an idiot or a paid shill. It is inefficient, costly, and inequitable. Move to Medicare for all (even just as an option to buy!) would fundamentally change the health care system for the better.

Yep, the Philadelphia area has many uni’s doing good work (Penn, Drexel, Temple), but it doesn’t come without friction.  I’m generally supportive of their growth, but it can cause problems if you’re not working with local community groups to address concerns of gentrification, displacement, etc.

I’m actually pretty pumped that ebikes are getting popular. They seem super practical for modest commutes (<10 miles) and make recreational biking more accessible to others.
