I would not, but for the following reasons:

In the US, I was a depressed, joyless husk of a human being who was most likely a bringdown to be around and I couldn’t find dates.

Any question that begins with an incredulous “yeah, but why would they...” seems so pointless when asked about the Browns.

Math and statistics absolutely do not work on “probablys” and “generallys.”

But the thing he’s being criticized for here is being bummed out after losing the biggest game of the year and not really wanting to go through the motions of a pointless (and optional, since he still has his job and I haven’t heard any whispers of punitive measures) exercise because he’s bummed out.

There are those words again.

But here’s the thing. I respect Newton as a performer because his performance on the field is amazing. As you said, these pressers are just a platform on which to judge the “character” of a player, which is always fun, but it’s fundamentally flawed thinking to assume you can assess a man’s character from boilerplate

Yeah, all of this feels way more “Fuck Cam Newton” than “won’t someone please think of the media?”

Since it gave random people the chance to either:

No, I simply asked for real world examples, not hypotheticals backed up with no actual facts.

See, this came up during the Marshawn HOT TAKE STORM as well and I never saw a good answer to this question there, so I’ll toss it out here.

I asked who lost money, not who probably sorta kinda maybe lost money somehow.

So who lost money because Cam walked out last night? Or, as was pointed out above, does the NFL actually get more media presence this morning because of it?

This brings up the same question I and many others had when Marshawn Lynch had his incidents with the press.

And beyond expecting or not expecting criticism, what did he do that demonstrates a lack of ability to handle it? Dude just bailed on a boring, standard, generic post-game presser (possibly because he could hear the guys he lost to gloating behind him) rather than waste time offering such brilliant insight as “yeah, I

God, to have more stars to give.

No problem. I’ve been there. *hat tip*

‘manipulative talk of suicide that is common in domestic abusers” ... (that’s not a thing)‘

Gotta agree. Nobody can argue that he isn’t suffering from a substance abuse issue (if not several), but he’s never had to pay the price for them. No other helpful measures have made an impact yet, so lock his ass up.

Correct. DeRay doesn’t care about black people as much as he cares about making sure you know how awesome and righteous he is.
