My aunt came to me with this nonsense. I had to explain that adding lemon juice to alkaline water just makes the water lemon flavored regular water.

Right. Be friendly about it “Hey, I know it’s weird times but when stuff settles down and we get back to some semblance of normalcy, would you like to grab a drink or something?”

I think there’s a valid argument for asking her out.

So I’ve been with my boyfriend since 2008, when I was 17 and he was 27 (I may not have been entirely truthful about my age when we started seeing each other). He was my first everything, boyfriend, kiss, etc. I thought we had the perfect relationship for a long time, we seemed like the couple everyone wanted to be.

This is an extremely psychologically revealing article.

Switching A and B will significantly improve my time on the Switch.

I think the functionality i miss the most, is the ability to see proper usage statistics (like in the 3ds), at least something more useful than “Played 180 hours or more”...

THIS. Especially since he stops telling you about them if you bulk submit, but have to go through so many menus to submit individually.

The museum is honestly one of the most impressive areas I’ve ever visited in a game.

I’d say it depends on what gives you more fun. For some it’s trying to break down the game to understand its underlying mechanics (for speedrunning or the challenge of decompiling). For others it’s just playing the game without any outside input. For others still, they want to have the most information possible in

the changing sounds my footfalls make when I walk across different surfaces.

This one actually feels like a MUSEUM! The hidden doors and the various seats really seal the deal for me.

Yeah, that or they put the facts in the Critterpedia once you’d donated them (though that wouldn’t do unless they put fossils in there as well).

Don’t forget one of the neatest features of the phylogenetic tree in the fossil exhibit. In the third room, which moves toward comparatively more recent species, the branches of the tree end on a large glass panel with silhouettes of the various animal villagers—and an empty space for you to stand to represent humans!

Honestly I was SO impressed with this bit, and for the first two weeks of playing the game (it honestly feels like it’s been out for maybe a week to me) this was definitely my favourite part.
I just love the details like the fire hose hatch in the wall, and the janitorial shelving. Just weird little details that make

The only thing I wish the museum had was Blathers’s facts about the displays on the plaques instead of just the name and date you found them.

The museum in this game is a huge leap forward from other AC games. It’s so pretty and dynamic and the displays remind me of real aquariums I’ve visited. I love wandering around when I’ve donated some new creatures and find good places to snap photos, when in the past I’ve mostly run in, donated & run out to do

Give the CPC a few months.

At this point this is the equivalent of banning markers because you can write a sign that supports Hong Kong.
