This seems like an appropriate response, honestly. These events are so goddamned frequent anymore that calling individual shootings “tragedies” feels dishonest relative to how we treat them on a national level.

We’ve reached a point where we appear to just accept these shootings as a fact of everyday life in America…

I see the flag poles around me are at half mast about half of the time, and I can’t remember why that is for any given tragedy. Just leave them at half mast for good, man. 

When I read that post that the purge was about the “trolls” I chuckled. Also, there was that post early on after the purge that the literal first writer-starred commenter was tomato. I emailed the writer about it immediately and the next time I checked the post a few min later tomato had been unstarred as top comment…

When reached for comment Brian Kemp confirmed he has opened an investigation into the Democratic Party of Georgia to get to the bottom of this.
