It’s like when people buy a place under the flight pattern of the local airport and then bitch about the jet noise.

While I generally find the “all gentrification is evil” narrative pretty limited, to me this is just called: Do Your Research. Figure out what happens in a neighborhood, decide whether or not you’d be happy to live there, and then sign your lease accordingly. Don’t show up and mess with the lives of the people who…
Everyone on this site: “I want a fast, stylish-but-not-overstyled, 300-400hp car with RWD, a manual transmission, and relatively analog underpinnings. I also want it for cheap.”
This is like the anti-Supra. Understated instead of over-styled, distinct nods to its heritage. Give it the 400hp TT V6 and a stick, price it in the low-40s to compete with the Mustang GT and undercut the I6 Supra, and you’d have to win hearts and minds of enthusiasts everywhere, right?
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the car is angled into traffic and the wheel is turned waiting for the opportunity to make the left turn?
They have GOT to name a corner after her.......
I’m usually pro spoiler but I don’t think it fits well here. It looks like something from a late ‘90s Accord
Agreed. My point wasn’t that depreciation is unique to this car or that EVs are replacing all ICE cars in 3-5 years like some responders are taking it. My point is just that this car in particular is positioned to tick every box of exceptional depreciation after a few years. It’s 1) An expensive luxury SUV, 2)from a…
“It’s just one of those unique cars and it’s gotta fit your living situation.”
Fuck those capacitive buttons so hard. We had them on our Taurus SHO and I hated them for all the reasons you stated, plus they don’t always work the best.
Temp control should never be a push button, always a knob. Period. Same for the fan speed. Period. Also, is the hvac vent control one button that you have to use to cycle through all of the choices?
Respectfully, I must disagree. The center infotainment screen is in landscape mode, the incorrect orientation for navigation, and the touch sensitive buttons are going to be hard to find without staring at them (not ideal at 80mph) and prone to smudging, so worse than either buttons or normal touch screen. I also have…
Obviously it’s not surprising that running things at a lower native res runs better. What IS surprising is that the lower res with AI upscaling looks as good or BETTER than native 4k much of the time. That is incredible.
The thing that feels magical is that the upscaling with DLSS from, say, 1080p to 4k is often indistinguishable from actual 4k rendering to the untrained eye.
This bike isn’t going after young riders, at all. This is going after the remaining dentists who ride motorcycles, but don’t already own a Harley. You know, the ones in their Aerostich suits with GSs or Tiger 1200s that always seem to be in a small group in a Starbucks parking lot? I kid, I kid, but honestly though, a…
NFSII wow, that brought back memories. I remember these cutscenes vividly.
Fuck Dr. Phil
So you’re one of those assholes going downhill past my house at all hours of the night with a car that sounds like you’re at a shooting range
Of course the typical Ferrari only gets taken out to drive a few thousand miles during its lifetime. Not too many are using them as dailies.
The 278 record is held by Koenigsegg, Jason, not McLaren.
