Buddy, this was the most gentle Statler and Waldorf-esque ribbing comment for you to get upset over. Take a break for a bit.

Yeah that is a real bad look.  Not everyone can grow amazing long beards but if its still growing in that patchy just give up and let it go.  Try again in a decade and see if it comes in better

Looks like his facial hair DID quit

Ah yes. It’s that guy. I’m pretty sure that starring in one of the most popular movies of it’s genre counts as acting but, by all means, go ahead and shit on the guy if it makes you feel good.

His real breakout role was in The Social Network, according various misinformed people.

Quit?

Despite critical acclaim and a strong fandom, they tend to slip under the radar. (Yeah, series...to Halt And Catch Fire...)

Ugh, that really isn’t a selling point. It means the maps will be full of pointless filler and chests to fill the space out. It was that tedium that made me give up on AC: Valhalla.

The Diplomat. It’d be nice if the AVC had heard of this show, too.

Since the headline implies that everyone was annoyed by the cameo, I think establishing that one was not, in fact, annoyed by it is entirely reasonable.

My mind is racing with the possibilities of Captain Get Hit By A Statue adventures.

I agree with you completely.  The movie wasn’t about the Illuminati it is about Strange and Wanda.  Their only purpose was to provide an infodump and die.

I fully and totally agree with your final paragraph.

Yeah sorry, but not really. I love the idea of Captain Carter and would be happy to see more of her in the future. But this wasn’t Atwells film, and wasn’t even the version of the character she had played prior. She was a tool to tell the story and, within that context, they treated her as the badass she was supposed

So she was not annoyed at all because she, like me, realizes the multiverse is the ultimate “get out of jail free card” and she can die millions of times and still come back for more if someone has a story.

The clip, at least that opening clip, makes it sound a lot more lighthearted than genuinely being upset her cameo amounted to being quickly killed off

I wasn’t annoyed. Several characters died...

Yeah, I have to say I wasn’t annoyed by the Illuminati getting taken out — I wasn’t happy about it, but it made sense in showing the hubris of that particular group. It didn’t do anything to diminish Atwell’s What If run, either.

I was annoyed? Didn’t know that.

I was meant to be annoyed that a scene served the story being told, rather than stroking an actor’s ego or giving the audience another 10 minutes of mindless fanservice action to squee over?
