Eww, who wants a ratty old Jaguar?

This is the right answer. All of the looks and 50% less likely to send you to bankruptcy court.

You set a low bar there.

You know the ES was Lexus’s first car, right?

I think a lot of it has to do with the stage of life you are in. I have kids and, these days, almost everyone we socialize with has kids as well. If we invite each other over for dinner, we just assume the kids are invited. A few years back, of course, and it would have been the opposite.

Sure, a lot of people can’t afford it. But a LOT more can get a $60K car than can swing a $100k+ car (especially when you consider mid-engine cars will cost more to service). Ahhh the poor you will always have.

Well, I am not hating on the new ‘vette, but I will miss the old one. As it moves up the pricing tier it is no longer available to people that simply save their pennies. A base model c7 is an astoundingly good value and a hell of a lot of fun. The new one may be even more fun, but their are going to be a whole lot of

Unless you have some particular mold sensitivity, it cleaning it up and running an ozone generator inside for a couple of days is fine. Its not like whatever is left if likely to cause you any physical issues.

No, it wouldn’t have room. Look at the packaging. The flat 12 sits on top of the transaxle. If you wanted to get a v8 in there, you would be looking for some sort of weird-ass sand-rail racing transaxle. And a LOT of fab work. BTW, I am not defending the Testarossa as some sort of good idea. The engine is pretty

I’ve never heard of an NA L24 putting out those kinds of numbers. I would have said that was impossible.

Its worth $30k in parts alone.

Its listed as a Ferrari. I wonder if the owner got the insurance company to pay out on a 365, instead of the Fauxrari it really is.

Even as a lump of rust, its worth a lot more in parts. Those parts alone would put it north of $30,000.

Maaaaaybe. That actually looks more like it was stored outside. The engine cover doesn’t do a good job of protecting from the rain. The busted out windows also let water in as well.

Well, for starters, that thing is a Flat 12. I don’t know how you could get a v8 in there. But generally, the reason is people WANT the Ferrari engine, regardless of the reliability factor.

Counterpoint: The coupe was the best looking Cadillac in 40 years.

FCA does the same thing too. My dad got the “It will never go that low. I would rather shoot myself in the foot than sell it at that price” only get a call 2 weeks later saying “Hey...are you still interested in that truck?” Nice work, Dodge.

Oh, someone lightly taped you in a parking lot? Oh, well, that will be $4,000 in repairs.

I am sure they will offer color matched bumpers as a $5,000 “Heritage” package. (911 owner here)

I think the 2500hd Ram is fake news. My father asked about it (he just got a new Ram) and was told it could only be ordered in bulk for fleet sales. I don’t even think its an option at all for the new model. Also, I don’t see that as an option for the Tocama on the Toyota site.
