Seriously, are their any brands of car air fresheners that DONT smell like Yankee-candle vomited in a synthetic pine forest?

My 4 year has seen the trailer about, uh, 50 times now? I assure you that this movie will be a hit with the intended audience; Sub-10 year olds.

“They are turning the company into an on demand bus service for people late to their McDonald’s job or court date, instead of a nicer taxi alternative at a better price for city dwellers and party goers.”

Jesus, get over yourself. “Bringing down the quality of this site” by making a joke? Commenting on the aesthetics of a car is kinda the point of a site like this. We are not curing cancer here. And, for the record, I am objectively right. VW couldn’t shift but a handful Phaetons despite being incredibly well

Most beautiful? Do you also think room-temperature oatmeal is super tasty? Is flat bud-lite your favorite beer? The Phaeton is so boring it could put a history proffesor to sleep.

Have we ever heard any sales numbers for these? I have only seen one FF on the road ever. I am not sure who buys these things, and why. (Obligatory; someone is going to post the image of that _one guy_ that uses his to haul skis)

Sure, but there are tons of better options; Magna-Steyr, Valmet Automotive, Lotus, etc. Why in the world would you pursue a company that only has experience in low-volume ultra-high end production rather than work with/buy companies that have the EXACT experience you need?

I certainly understand the concept of an acqui-hire to get the expertise, but this seems like a terrible plan unless Apple wants to be in the high-end supercar market. Mclaren can offer nothing in terms of self-driving expertise. Mclaren can offer nothing in terms of mass-enginering. Mclaren can offer nothing in terms

This makes sense, how?

What? Its true some of the things these CEOs say are razzle-dazzle, but lets take UBER for a second. Its on pace to do more than an estimated $15 BILLION in revenue in 2016. Being unprofitable isnt unexpected, rather its nearly a requirement based on the ways these investments are structured and the growth targets

Because this works with your smartphone, is web-enables and integrates with Alexa. If all you want to do is turn on one light, of course this is stupid. However, if you want to wire up your house, I doubt you want to wander around with 20 fobs on your keychain.

That guy has the right mix of skill and total disregard for personal welfare to go pro.

The G-wagen, but only in G300TD form, not this limp-dick compensator G65.

Dozens. Literally DOZENS of people are heartbroken.

A previous generation LS460 hits a lot of these, except the screen concerns. But this guy is crazy and that is coming from a guy that wished his Lexus had manual crank windows.

I think you are underestimating the fundamental economics that make quadcopters so appealing. Comparable helicopters (two seater manual ones) are incredibly difficult to fly and have much greater “point of failure” issues. Once the electronics are sorted out self-flying quadcopters will be more reliable at a fraction

The G65/63 are shame embarrasing douche-wagons. Shit on-road, shit off-road. Subtable only for the second wives that are desperate to “leak” their sex tape. They broadcast “I am a horrible person that makes horrible choices”. Now, the G300TD, on the other hand is badass.

I am not so sure. They get 100% of the fare, have no driver-acquisition costs (it costs them about $410 to get a new driver to sign up), no logisitical management cost, can keep the fleet operational 24/7 (they could be used as delivery vehicles overnight), they can flex the fleet more easily (keep lots of them

Except in the US where longshoreman have succesfully lobbied to prevent mechanization and remain 10X the price to land items vs. the rest of the world. PRESTO people land things in Mexico and us trains to make deliveries. Idiots.

Yes. I stared at it numerous times watching the aging plastic cups get older. Wondering when they were going to give out.
