As someone with a small ribcage and a large cup size, this advice is terrible. Most companies that make “full-figure” or large-cup bras do give thicker straps to cup sizes of DD+ - all the way from 30 to 40+ in band size.

I know it can be a frustrating experience, but I think jury duty is a very important civic duty. If I can keep an innocent person out of jail, if I can help them get a reduced sentence, if I can help eliminate an unjust law - why not just take the time out of your regular life and do it? If I was being tried, I…
I think one of the easiest things is, as long as the kids are verbal, to not talk down to kids. Just talk to them like they’re another person you’re meeting. Most kids who aren’t too shy respond well to this, and I usually have an easier time instead of trying to figure out what level of baby/kid-talk to use. I’ve…
If you’re able to, planning “holiday travel” not on the actual holiday weekends can also alleviate a lot of the expectation and stress of it all. Holidays are supposed to be about getting together, the date doesn’t have to match exactly.
I know I’m late to the game on this, but the only white sauce I want with my shawarma is toum. I learned about it from my favorite Lebanese place in CT and I can’t shawarma without it. If you’re like me, there’s equal dollops of hummus and toum on your plate for dipping and enjoying.
I am a 34/34E and I really enjoy the Berlei sports bras that I have. They carried them at Macy’s for a short time years ago (you can still find them online), and my medium impact ones have been my favorite every day bras ever since.
This is how my family make chicken salad - curry powder, apple (usually Fuji, Pink Lady, or Honeycrisp), we do put celery in but I like it. I think it’s usually better a day or two after you make it, so the curry gets fully incorporated and bloomed into the mayo. I’m making some tonight.
While most of it I’m putting back into savings, I am spending some of my “visiting friends” money on buying gifts from local businesses and having them shipped to my friends. It’s brought some fun and excitement to the sameness that’s been happening most of quarantine, and it helps small creators and businesses too.…
I am a lazy cook and my knife cuts aren’t very precise. There are times when I need things to cook evenly, or I want to make thin slices that I don’t feel confident I can cut with a knife. That’s why I own a mandoline.
This is frustrating me too! I saw a lead photo for a Root article where someone was also not covering their nose with their mask. Are there just no photos of people using masks correctly?
As a messy person who has been dying my hair for years, I have to say that putting a shower cap on while the color is processing has been the best thing I’ve learned. This might not work for some box colors or bleaching processes, but for the neon-bright semi-permanents I do, it’s made it so I can relax for a while…

I just got my Nexplanon removed (it was expired) and it was the best 5-year decision that I could have made for myself. While I had some side effects, the long term positives outweighed the shorter term side effects I had.
I watched this and I loved it. I believe I called it a “surrealist suburban fever dream”. It’s definitely a bizarre melodrama, with faux-tense pauses and moments of complete absurdity. Lynch/Waters is the perfect way to describe it, they are two of my favorite directors.
If you’re really into root beer and ever near an A&W restaurant (or one of the combo Long John Silver’s ones), you can always ask for your root beer in a frosted mug. They keep them in the ice chest!
Seconded! Admittedly, my iPhone is still an SE, but it is pristine under my Otterbox.

Honestly? How to write a check. I felt so stupid and childish when I had to write my first check and had to ask my parents what all the different lines are for.
If you like Fluxx, the people who designed it also made a new game system called Pyramid Arcade. It’s 25 games in the box and another 500+ online. It’s pretty awesome, and it’s neat to be able to quickly switch to a different game in the same box.
My family has always replaced the oil with butter and the water with milk in all box mixes. It makes them far richer, but they’re a treat so why not!
This is all great advice. When I get into Impossible Task headspace, I now just try to break it into tiny bite size tasks which feel a little less impossible. The sense of accomplishment builds quickly and before you know it, you’re probably at least halfway done.
