Yeah but there’s no reason she couldn’t have taken them off to run.

Isn’t it interesting that they’re marketing Star Wars through Glamour magazine? Not a publication generally thought of as targeting typical sci-fi action fans.

I’m amazed at how many commenters here completely missed this article’s joke. They’re all like “Where’s the proper review of the extended cut!”

Even better than Secret Of Mana was its spiritual successor Secret Of Evermore, which hasn’t ever been re-released,not even for the Wii virtual console.

A) It’s remarkable how much input random crew-members had in the film, including contributing some of the best moments. I guess ‘it takes a village’ to make a great movie. Like the original Star Wars, so much of what made this film work is sheer dumb luck and on-the-spot ideas. And NOT years of planning and

This is a really cool series, with interesting (and relevant) social themes and a fast movie plot with memorable characters.

Because I imagine there’d be outrage if anybody other than Garth Ennis wrote a Preacher book. But who knows; some people bought Before Watchmen.

100% true.

Gerard Way is going out of his way to make the Young Animal comics weird - albeit in a more interesting way than variant covers.

Steven Wright would make a better Joker than Leto

I think that is actually the standard cover. If you paid a variant price, you’ve been duped.

That assumption that modern audience will reject ‘corny shit’ out of hand is what lead to the debacle of BvS. People don’t know what they want until they get it.

That’s a different comic company though.

Okay that’s cool. I misinterpreted your first comment as one of those “Leave your politics out of my comics!” type comments.

Yeah well, until that day, this sort of thing is necessary. If only to remind people that basic human decency shouldn’t be a ‘political football’

I rewatched it five times after it aired (I had to VCR it as in Australia it was broadcast at 10:30pm), but I haven’t watched it since, because it still feels raw.

Kira Nerys is the reason I got into Star Trek. I caught the episode ‘Progress’ late at night - not even an action episode, but a quiet two-hander about Kira convincing an old man to leave his home - and Nana Visitor was so compelling that I was enthralled. The second next episode was ‘Duet’, a huge Kira showcase

Looks like a decent B-movie to watch on a rainy day.
