I have no doubt that at some point in the development of this adaptation they discussed changing the Watch to WTCH, but the execs kept getting confused, thinking they were making a show about witches.

First, I was expecting a rehash of “The Almighty Johnsons”

They didn’t. But the captioners have been great about “The Kid: coos” throughout the series.

I’ve been watching the series with subtitles on and am surprised they did not caption this scene “The Kid waves hello”

It isn’t always the case, but sometimes differences between the URL and headline reveal an edit (in this case, no reference is made to it being an affiliate).

Awful is putting it mildly. The ground the otherwise fun movie to a halt.
