Yaaaaaay! Hopefully less of these people die/get hurt and I can watch the rest of the vehicles uninterrupted!!! Though, banning seems a bit harsh, maybe they should just have the powersports fellas run on a different day?

Until last year I had never owned an American car, and am by no means some kind of GM or US car fanboy, but these cars look great, sound great, come with one of the best motors money can buy (take that to the bank), and can be made to turn with little effort though most choose not to go that route. So it has a crappy…
Almost lost me at Evo “X” and giant engine, but I endured... Ultimately losing me shortly thereafter while driving with a shitty tune. Who the heck tuned this thing, where did/does Greg work?
Eh, lots of people run these with a tune and an O2 sim and get pretty noteable performance increases. So I’d argue that it does indeed help out in the power department, though at a cost to the enviroment.
In all my years of having parts sent to and from me, my friends, and family there have been more than a few packages that never made it. I have never in my life seen one, not ONE of those items covered by the actual carrier’s (UPS/FedEx) themselves. Never one time, occasionally it was taken care of by the company…
Hey there, that’s my Black Gold video on youtube! :D
Ameeerihcaaaaaaaaa!
In the late ‘90s I was stationed up at Fort Drum, NY and would regularly make trips up to Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto etc. What I found was shocking; people would “tune” these J-body cars just as much as their popular Civic Si-R brethren. Torque vs. HP/L arguments abounded and the Pontic Sunfire GT / Chevy Cavalier Z24…
I see about three people replied to my original post and attempted to “call me out”, all of whom I’ve responded to. I also see that about 51 other folks have recommended my post; probably because they understand my position and passed their reading comprehension tests as children :)
There’s a difference between victim blaming and common sense, but I suppose it’s easier to be sarcastic than actually comprehend what I was had written :)
Feel free to obsessively respond with some dull-witted sarcasm at your earliest convenience!
Oh, perhaps you misunderstood, my position and post has never changed thus I was never victim blaming. I’m simply stating that by choosing to break the law/ride that day the rider put himself and his passenger in needless danger. Had he obeyed the law and stayed home we wouldn’t have anything to argue about and that…
Heh, the infamous personal jab, a proverbial white-flag of truce on the internet when you can no longer justify your position :) Note that not once did I lower myself to that “simple” level, but I suppose if you can’t make a point otherwise what else is there for you to do?
I don’t understand what you’re getting at; did you read anything I posted? I simply stated that by following the law the cyclist would not have met with this homicidal motorist. Period.
This isn’t a discussion about “whether someone should have driven a car into him.” that’s absurd of course he shouldn’t have. What I’m saying is that if Motorcycle-guy looked at his bike before leaving and thought “Gee, I don’t have a license to operate this thing, maybe a movie would be better for this afternoon…
Thanks for the comedy Gold right there, it’s truly appreciated :)
I don’t care about the law in this case at all, it’s irrelevant, the guy can cross double yellow lines and drive unlicensed all day long that’s his call. What I’m saying is that by choosing to ignore the law, and go out for superhappyfuntime instead, he…
Here’s the logic of my statement minus the nonsensical hypothetical situations that never took place and therefore have no relevance.
A person that does not have a license should not be driving, if a person is not driving a motorcycle illegally they have no ability to be struck by a car while riding a motorcycle. Savvy?
…
I hear ya dude, know how this all could have been avoided?
It’s not a done deal yet, they’re low-balling the crap out of my (ST) trade in which might ultimately push me towards an R32 GT-R instead of the RS but we’ll see. If I can sell teh ST outright soon enough I’ll do it, if not it’s nothing an Evo/GT-R with proper mechanical diffs can’t fix :)
I was looking at the Metallic…
My “stance” on the issue is this.
Other people are welcome to do whatever they wish with their own vehicles. To each their own as it were, but I don’t have to like it, and I don’t have to apologize for thinking it’s moronic. Everyone has different tastes and that’s what makes the car culture cool, anyone can make a…
The dealership I’m currently going through has pre-sold three, two with a 3-5k markup and one at MSRP to an employee. I’m talking with them currently and am at MSRP but haven’t pulled the trigger. I think the only reason they’re offering it to me at sticker is because I purchased a car from them previously. We’ll see…
