I’m just here to see if any of the people that CONSTANTLY complain about turbo lag actually show up and say anything in this thread :) I once read a commenter lament about the terrible lag in the focus st between 1000 and 2000 rpm :D Of course, there are a gazillion other accounts of this but that’s just off the top

Based on equivalent equipment? What are you talking about, we're discussing some of the primary competitors for the RS which will be the STI and Golf-R, we're not comparing the maxed out trim levels for either model.

AWD top tier subaru WRX is the STI, which can be had for 34,595, and the Golf R for 36,595. Are you

Eh, you're slightly skewing the discussion with the inclusion of "limited" model STIs etc. You can buy a brand new WRX STI for 34,495 and a brand new Golf R for 36,595. It's just my opinion that 34k (maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe 35) will get you into a base RS. You don't have to share it, and you can

Oh ye of little faith, that's the same thing that was said when the ST was coming out. "No one is gonna buy a Focus for 32k when they can get a new Mustang GT with a Coyote for 33! Their MSRP will be tempered by the competitions price both within and from other companies. I'm betting 34k for a base model RS isn't too

Those three spoke wheels on the Celica! Yowzers.

I'm guessing 34k MSRP for a base model RS.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssss!!! No little poop reverse light!!!

I'm 6', 195lbs, and love the seats in my ST3! Short jaunts, spirited driving, road trips and they all feel awesome! Of course, this must be a love/hate situation as most of the people I talk to or see either love them or hate them.

Crackpipe, the W58 is the biggest let down here but if you're a bit savvy with a set of tools you can DIY for much, much less.

God DAMN the guy who posted that video on youtube is dapper is ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

Then why do folks index plugs, also, I've seen dyno results with no changes other than plugs (going from conventional to Iridium) which seem to disprove that theory.

2G 4G63 with the plug dividers still in there? Daaaaaaaaang, also digging the lightly salted block valve cover :D Also, be sure you're putting in some NGK BPR-7ES plugs (for that setup) and replace those crappy wired with NGK blues for great justice!

Ah right, don' know why I was thinking he was racing unlimited in that Porsche. That doesn't however detract from his whining and throwing a hissy-fit afterward, nor the awesomeness that is winning with your drift car :D

He sure did, buuuuuut then again this was Millen's drift car that they decided to race up the mountain not a dedicated time attack hill climb machine, so there's that.

Could have sworn it was a VQ V6 as they're very, very, very, very, very, really, extra, super close to the Hyundai motor, or rather vice versa.

Holy f'n X-Wing into the swamp!

Crackpipe all day.

The car itself is cool, I've loved those old first gen Maximas since highschool auto shop when I had to replace a rocker panel on one as an auto-body project. To my surprise it packed the ol' L28 Datsun motor and was RWD!

That being said, it's a car that's worth next to nothing, with the mid tier

Turbo.... AND VTEC?!?!?

They're just two very different devices. I mean sure, the gopro records video, but these dashcams are much better or more suited I should say to recording the day in and day out of your commutes. They have features like shock sensors to mark and hold footage, they typically save your commute five minutes at a time and
