With a FiST, FoST, and brz/fr-s thrown in for good measure

Now playing

Maybe if it came with THIS L18 motor.... Wait, nah still crack pipe!

Crack.... Price. CRACK I SAY!

Japanese steel, American style, and probably an LS under the hood... So be it. That will be quite the kit though! Fenders, hood, over fenders (why have over fenders if you're already making bespoke fenders?), front air dam/bumper etc. Yowza. I'm a Z chassis kinda guy but I could rock an S if it looked like that!

Realistically I'd say the odd man out is the Fiesta, for not much more, or even in some cases less you can have the FoST instead of the FiST. This means that for not much more, or in many cases less you get more space, hp, better 0-60, better 1/4 mile, better rear suspension, better interior, better skid pad figures,

As a person that never used the "old" myfordtouch/sync but was recently introduced to the new version... Yes it does suck, it sucks bad.

Too soon.

Ugh, my biggest complaint about the FoST is the wheels, and the newest generation is right on par with the ugliness :( I think I prefer the '13/14 wheels and definitely prefer the front of the earlier models.

Test drove both the Fiesta ST as well as the Focus ST, ended up going with the Focus. As I mentioned in the other best under 30k post here, the FoST has more room, more powaaaaaah, better 0-60, better p/w, better rear suspension setup, better 1/4mile (I know, I know, nobody likes drag racing), same if not sometimes

I'm guessing 33/34k to get into a base RS, we'll see.

FoST all day over the FiST! More room, more powaaaaaah, better 0-60, better p/w, better 1/4mile (I know, I know, nobody likes drag racing), same if not sometimes better braking, more Gs on the skidpad, can actually be cheaper with incentives, etc. Come at me bro!

240Z front end on the 240SX hatchback or RPS13, or S13 or whatever :)

Nice, that's one of my favorite episodes! I love the fact that some random kid in his K-swapped EG can hang with all the big boys!

Cool car, but it costs 70k+ sooooooooooooo.... Crack pipe.

Hmm,

Hnnnnnnng, that engine by itself is worth a metric crap-ton :D

No worries man, built RB motors are awesome, just waaaay too pricey, it's just not what I'd stick in a 240SX :) Truth be told, anymore I'd probably just LS swap the car and be done with it!

I'd say for a fully built and nice S-chassis car you can build it yourself for 20k, if you're happy with 500/550whp you can get away with a stock SR and save yourself another $2500 off that total. I'd totally want that over any S2k, the vette would be tempting as they're soooooo cheap now, and personally I'd take a

In an S-chassis vehicle? Lets chat shall we :)

1. The RB is an iron block aluminum head motor that's quite a bit heavier, it throws the weight balance off but a pretty good measure.

2. Price. If you want to reliably make more than 500whp (which the above SR did) the first thing you're going to want to modify with the RB
