When you consider the hours consumed vs the price tag $70 is not that much money. I expect dragon’s dogma to give at least 40 hours (more than likely much more). That is still less than $2/hr. Compared to a movie ticket that is a damn steal. I feel less bothered by this, than I do all these streaming services

I sincerely hope you don’t pull that annoying shit with real people in real social situations.

Ma’am, it literally does something.

I’ll bite, once they’re being dumped in fire-sale clearance fashion for $99 or so.

Exactly. “How many users are likely to use and benefit from this” vs. “How many hours of development would need to be dedicated to making this usable across a wide range of possible resolutions and screen sizes”. Add technical challenges like multi-account logins and stuff that the infrastructure wasn’t designed for

It’s more dev time and testing. Part of good development is weighing the potential value of adding a feature vs the potential loss of revenue of simply not adding a feature.

This is by far the smartest way of doing it. It makes the collector’s editions platform agnostic. This eliminates instances where you want the collector’s edition but the only one they have in stock is for a platform you don’t own.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened. I think it’s actually kind of smart for the consumer, oddly enough. Now that we have choice between the convenience of digital copies or the tangible value of physical copies, offering a collectors’ edition without the game gives the player choice in how they want the game

We get it bud, you’re like, 99 percent more internet cool than the person you’re responding too. Thanks for letting us all know. Now as a reward, please leave your house and touch some grass.

Thank god you said what I was thinking. I was just gna leave the internet forever and go be amish, I felt so lost

I’m fairly terminally online, but I barely understood half of what you wrote.

I openly admit to being out of the loop on slang, but wtf does what you said mean? What’s a groyper? Or a milkshake duck? What is mogging and how does one do it?

Actually here is a very speicfic example:

These people like to pretend this wasn’t the inevitable and incredibly predictable conclusion of these monetization policies. the rage they have now was what they SHOULD have had a decade ago but wrote it off as not their problem.

Now it’s here and their problem. Damn. Whomsd’nt’ve among us could possibly have seen

Maaaybe children shouldn’t have free access to daddy’s credit card.

To clarify, for those who worry, I absolutely haven’t let him sit down and play through HFW. It’s in no way appropriate for him, and he’s a particularly fearful kid.

Nope, it was there in the original copy.

He specified in the article that he didn’t let the kid play any part where you fight humans, though maybe he edited it in response to your comment??

“…the alleged potato, which they later named “Doug” because why not”
