Well, Perlmutter was as much to blame for that as anything, as he’s the one that tainted the TV well, and it’s quite likely that some of the bad ideas he inflicted on the TV shows (like the Inhumans) would have been forced on the movies. (It’s also probably not a coincidence that they didn’t officially add Captain

That, PLUS the evil laugh. Hahn’s casting was so perfect.

All great points. It certainly was a hallmark of the last phase that most of the single movie villains were usually in service to someone or something bigger than themselves so I could honestly see it go either way.

It’s too early to tease a grand bad like that. It took until the first Avengers to get our first sign of Thanos.

There’s still the possibility that Wanda is still in control and that Agatha is the cackling villain she needs to believe she’s not the bad guy here

I think they may actually be making Agatha a villain in the MCU. Before the show even aired everyone predicted Agnes was Agatha. The showrunners were pretty open about which comics they were taking inspiration from and they’d likely predict everyone with knowledge of the comics would deduce Agnes was Agatha. By making

She got to do a superhero landing twice! Once when she first made it through the barrier, the other after going toe-to-toe with Wanda.

Yeah, that’s the only reason I’m not sure if that’s it. Apparently the Darkhold popped up on the Runaways show as well looking the same as it did on AoS. This book looks totally different, but the other shows were just kinda pseudo-MCU so who knows.

the MCU’s Agatha Harkness appears unquestionably malevolent.

I don’t like it when fans “demand” that some celebrity say something or stand up for their causes. It’s creepy and weird. They don’t owe you that. Also, once you “demand” it, then it becomes performative, even if it’s how they truly feel.

I think people forget that not everyone has the same level of engagement with social media or the news and that many people’s first response to hearing distressing information about a friend or former coworker may not be to address it in a public forum.

It might work but it sounds like the glue is on her scalp. Letting it grow may cause her scalp to tear. Plus if its been that way for a month already and it hasnt grown enough to even get a straight razor under there...man IDK

The ER was totally on the wrong track with alcohol and acetone. I worked in an ER about 15 years ago and we had a guy who mangled his hand with a box knife and then tried to glue it closed with superglue. We tried everything to get the glue off so the doc could suture him. Finally I said fuck it and called poison

I don’t know the specifics, but it seems like they’re trying to save the hair. At this point, accept the fact that everything has to go, to protect the scalp.

Maybe we’ll agree on the next post. For now, you do the same.

“are you proud of your daughter?”

So well stated. Especially Sunny’s “show some grace and undertsanding”. Even if she knew it was Gorilla Glue and not Gorilla Snot (I think was the other hair brand name), she messed up. She made a mistake and is a person. It’s so easy to sit here and say “HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW or BE SO DUMB”. Because somethimes we

Wouldn't work.

Gorilla glue expands. IE into pores.

To the best of my understanding, a strong adhesive is capable of clogging up pores easily. Hair growth might become ingrown, and normal shedding of skin cells, oil, and sweat being blocked can definitely put her at risk of serious skin infections.
