I’m annoyed MGM gave the rights for this instead of allowing Fuller the power to bring Clarice and all related characters into a fourth season of Hannibal. It’s not this show’s fault but this looks kind of bland and I don’t trust CBS to do anything particularly challenging/provoking with the format or characters.

It could not even be her bringing him. It could be someone else pulling the strings or even Billy.

The Ancient one says that a reality without all Infinity Stones will be “overrun by the forces of darkness”. We already know that alternative 2012 Loki has caused some shenanigans my taking the Space Stone and they seem to be leaning into the multiverse.

Yeah, it was more drama. But perhaps a callback to something more dramatic wouldn’t be completely off for the show since this episode had more drama and less comedy than past episodes. And wow, I’d forgotten about what happened with Stephen Collins... makes sense.

The Pietro and Spiderman castings could simply be that they’re ALTERNATE characters of these other movies but not the same. Might be the MCU’s way of acknowledging their existence while at the same time giving them leeway to change the story of these characters however they see fit.

It could even be that the Wanda we saw in the SWORD tapes is not Wanda but someone posing as her. Could be Wanda is as just a prisoner in Westview as the others, except she has some degree of control of what happens inside.

This comment had me going to youtube and bumped into this clip of Siskel & Ebert talking about Spielberg fighting to get widescreen version of his movies being released on video while consumers, studios, and retailers were fighting it lol. Such different times.

The intro felt a lot like 7th Heaven which went from mid-90s to late 00s. Not exactly the same style but similar. Wouldn’t be surprised if next episode was early 00 to mid 00s.

I highly doubt Feige is going to continue Fox’s X-Men in the MCU. This is just more a cheeky nod to the X-Men and future multiverse possibilities.

> But she already has done exactly that.

I looked up the movie and they also had a daughter trapped in their son’s doll body? This franchise is ridiculous lmao.

The average person’s enjoyment of the world of Ivalice really depends on the time period. If you’re living around the time of XII (before or after) you’re going to have a decent time. I mean, Rabanastre by itself is an amazing cosmopolitan city; I can only imagine how other cities in that world must look like.

I didn’t mind so much since it was just a small cameo that doesn’t feel like it would be recurring. But I agree it’s a little disappointing to see more Skywalkers show up but at least this cameo made sense: what other Jedi other than Ahsoka and possibly Ezra could have sensed Grogu?

I think it also works in giving other characters a way to fight lightsabers without resorting to just avoiding them. A beskar weapon is useful and makes lightsaber-wielding characters a bit less invincible.

The whole thing looked wonky. It reminded me of a ps3 CGI cutscene for some reason. Anyway I’m not really hating on it because it was still decent and it was used for a short amount of time.

Sebastian Stan would be a great pick to recast Luke. It’s actually crazy how similar he looks to a young Mark Hamill.

Oh damn, I hadn’t even thought of that. I was imagining Thrawn showing up on The Mandalorian but your idea is probably more likely.

Unearned?
