Really interested to see how Kamala Khan ends up getting her powers in this. In the comics she’s Inhuman and while we’ve had Inhumans on the Marvel shows before the ones not under Marvel Studios are probably not canon anymore. Maybe she’ll end up just being a Mutant, paving the way for the X-Men later on?

With the leaked casting of who’s going to be in Spider-Man 3, the name for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and the hint from Spider-Man 2; my biggest guess is that if they choose to have Miles he’ll be from another universe just like in the comics. The Peter that is part of his origin doesn’t have to be

At least Nolanites are able to appreciate better movies when they watch them? The Snyder fans act as if the DC movies are the peak of cinema and it’s just so sad to see.

Netflix’s Originals are hit or miss but I appreciate they have so many. Movies like Over the Moon are pretty good and their original shows (especially their fantasy offerings) always have something to keep you watching. Also surprised CBS All Access is so high on your list since they have such a small selection and

True. There’s so many services now it’s sometimes too much. With only paying for 2 (Disney and Hulu), I still have free Peacock, Netflix, AppleTV+, and Prime Video (not including the tons of other free services). The problem is finding which service has what and for that you either need a good UI that’ll show you lots

I like Peacock but it doesn’t have the best offerings. It does have a lot of older movies which is nice. It’s where I first saw Serial Mom and it’s one of my favorites now. It’s definitely niche though. I like their UI but it’s not the best for discovering new stuff, unlike say Netflix or Hulu which are the best at it

Studios have been thinking about debuting big tent films online (some smaller ones have done it for smaller films irrc) for a while anyway so this isn’t a completely unprecedented move. And with the way the industry is going and viewers wanting quicker access I think this is a pretty smart move.

Not sure if you realize it might take longer than the summer for things to get back to normal even with vaccinations. It will take time and WB aren’t scientists or medical professionals so they just chose the whole year instead of just choosing an arbitrary date when everything would be all right.

Last few seasons were so bad, especially when they didn’t know what to do with certain characters. The way they continously tortured Tara only to give her some agency as a vampire and then kill her, Lafayette was such a fun character given the weirdest and most awful storyline (remember “Brujo shit”?). Then Bill’s

Right? I never got the appeal of Boba Fett. He always seemed like a loser to me and the prequels didn’t help either (especially seeing Jango die lol). Anyway, this was the only time I ever saw Boba Fett as remotely competent or “cool”. I just never understood why fans loved him so much when his greatest achievement

I agree. I think a recast would be fair and it would be great to see the role given to another talented Black actor who could continue the role of T’Challa. The movies haven’t even done much setting up of Shuri as Black Panther so it would feel out of place after T’Challa taking on the mantle for such a short amount

He fits young Nathan Drake well but definitely not the older version. In terms of personality and typecasting yes, he’s a perfect fit.

I’ve never had that feeling more than when I saw McGann in Night of the Doctor. It was my first exposure to Eight and I 100% accepted him as the Doctor within his first sentence. I’ve since listened to his Big Finish audio dramas and he’s so brilliant as the character. So underrated; I’d love LOVE LOVE LOVE to see an

This feels like the first time main white characters in a video game looks worse than Black characters. There’s already a very low amount of BIPOC characters in video games and this just makes the difference between the character models here seem much more obvious. The shoe is on the other foot and it’s kinda funny.

I loved Bill and was eh on Ashildr. I think the concept of what she went through was fine but the way she ended up a companion of Clara’s (which went full-out Mary Sue) was very very disappointing. It was Moffat indulging in the worst parts of his love for Clara: first the Impossible Girl who was retconned into having

Yeah, Hippolyta intro felt really rushed. She goes from 0 to 100 with “I’m back, oh and I was also with aliens and in Earth XXXX” with none of the characters having much of a reaction to it and just along. I get that they’re used to magic at this point but that’s different from “I was all over the multiverse for

It could go either two ways:

Moffat’s writing became less self-indulgent and more restrained once Capaldi came onto the show. After his first series the writing for Capaldi got much better imo. I think another series with Moffat and Capaldi would’ve given us some of the best series of NuWho up there with s5.

I don’t even mind the amount of companions. Moffat showed you can write several companions and give them their own intriguing arcs/stories; just look at how he manage to write three very well-defined and complex characters in the Ponds (Amy, Rory, and River). Even when he indulges in his going overboard, Moffat still
