Hopefully they can sell the whole thing, or just the scope, to some university or something. Even just parked on the ground, it’s a pretty amazing piece of tech.

“An animated film as Best Picture? We can’t do that!”

You ask the tough questions...

It seems a lot of Pixar films are like that (Brave, Up, WALL-E). It’s like some-one wrote part of the film, then gave it to some-one else to finish with the bare minimum of explanation.

Instructions (at least for the Technic I get) have a complete listing of the parts at the back, so conceivably, yes, since the instructions are a free download.

Some people just can’t understand numbers... yes, we’re doomed.

Yeah, I’ve lost count of the number of “supersonic/hypersonic airliner, coming soon!” start-ups in the past decade or so. Pretty pictures, pie-in-the-sky predictions, then nothing.

At sea could be useful, if it excludes the other stuff that’s in seawater & absorbs only H2O.

serious damage to the constellation as a whole.

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious that free access is their main concern. Can’t have regular people learning stuff, can we..?

I was referring to the sub-title: “A New Hope” (I know, originally it didn’t have that...).

That was pretty awesome. I’ll have to keep an eye out for more by Grace Chan.

“Star Wars” resurrected hope

Asus also did it with their PadFone, 10 years ago (there were others too).

It’ll save the corporations money too; no more buying (sorry, “donating to campaigns”) reps & senators etc.

Most of these films are ‘70's or ‘80's; still a bit “post WW2" & Cold War (& Korea, Vietnam, Cuban Missile Crisis...) sort of thinking. So “things going horribly wrong” is not too far fetched for most people.

That is particularly annoying when there is a menu or other links at the bottom of the page... which you can never get to because of auto-scroll-load nonsense. (Gizmodo did that for a while...)

Oh, hell. I’ve been to the edge. Just looked like more space. I don’t know. It can get awful lonely in the black.”

Nah, I’d keep the UI & everything else “flat”; just have the model itself 3D. I mean, it’s already 3D, the data is all there, it just needs a little more software to render the stereoscopic version.
