I wish my CAD software could support a 3D monitor. I would have no problem wearing 3D glasses all day for the purpose; 3D (with glasses) has been around for so long, & CAD seems like an obvious use for it.

Have a look at some videos of heli-logging. “Dangerous stunt each execution” is pretty much the job description.
“U.S. startup”
One old option that seems to have disappeared is “Auto Answer”. On my 1st (& possibly 2nd; I forget...) smartphone, I could set it to automatically pick up a call (after 3 rings, I think). I would mostly use this while using a headset while driving.
“synced its framerate to the drone’s spinning”
“2x6 tiles with different stickers” (Slide 4)
Came here to make the same analogy. This article is just rubbish.
Short answer: yes.
Might be time to disconnect Russia from the rest of the internet. (Not sure about the “how”...)
For spectating you don’t need all the complex physics & stuff, it’s all just imagery. If the “draw distance” is also limited for viewing, surely there’s a way to do a “viewer” program that only needs a subset of the data & driving software? (I use CAD, & many CAD programs have a viewer that lets you look AT models,…
There’s probably some clowns going through the list already:
Been around for years...
I’ve wondered this myself (did a little digging to see if there were any answers floating around). I suspect the idea is that the projectile is a small enough percentage of the total rotating mass that the system is still close enough to balanced to not shred itself.
Ship the soda with-out the CO2. Plenty of that where-ever there is people.
If you want to build large-scale structures in orbit, you don’t get your raw material from earth. Either the Moon or a convenient (re-orbitted?) asteroid is a far better source.
“Maybe it’s time we all switch back to using smaller phones that are single-hand-friendly”
Standard political/war tactic: accuse your opponent of doing the thing you are doing or want to do.
“Lego Eames Lounge chair”
Yeah, the “go back to your own comments” system is rubbish. Another case of “it works, so lets update it &... oh, now it’s broken”.
I wonder if they can address/activate each “dome” individually (akin to pixels on a screen) to create an acoustic array that would allow directional sound control (& other cool stuff like ultrasonic interference)?
