I call such people “power leeches”. Doesn’t matter who is in power or what they stand for, the power leeches will follow them, in the delusion that some of the “power” will rub off on them.

The “Cheeseburger”?

Rubber Bumpers for Everything: when I bought my snowboard & bindings, the bindings came with an ugly black rubber “stomp pad” to provide grip for the boot that isn’t in a binding (when tooling around the lifts etc). Instead of sticking that over the cool graphics on my board, I did a grid pattern of Rubber Bumpers

Yeah, the GOTY versions are great; DLC’s without faffing around downloading!

I never really worried about manufacturers. I focused on the functions and stats, comparing what I had with what I looted/won/could buy. And I always carried a lot of different weapons (33 slots in the backpack; I walk around with only one empty).

(Psst... tenant -> tenet, prey -> pray.)

Yup. My flatmate and I were struggling with (IIRC) Enter the Matrix (hey, it was a tough game, and neither of us were “Gamers”). Then I bought a second-hand memory card, and voila! Full finished game saved on it, along with many, many others. So we could jump in anywhere and mess around. (I sometimes wondered if some p

Yeah. I think car-makers have done the advertising wrong. Instead of “more efficient = better for the environment”, they should be “more efficient = SAVES YOU MONEY”.

I can’t believe no-one else has said it yet:

I have one. Can confirm that it is a very nice tool, although the “flattened” Philips drivers are a bit iffy. The blade can be deployed and closed one-handed.
