Yeah, pretty much. It’s quite remarkable that most of the world is like that.

Yup, life (and oxygen) meter on the suit, ammo count on the gun: the “interface” design was top-notch. Beats a HUD getting in the way. I’m amazed other games didn’t follow suit.

Yeah, in a lot of game it’s sometimes better to forget the sequels and play through the first again (especially since there is often a “second play-thru” option; with tougher enemies and more stuff to get).

No, it’s at 90 degrees to the wind: ie. you need a cross-wind to go forwards.

Well, with hackers and viruses and scams and such, it pretty much is the whole internet...

I think it depends on what you do behind the anonymity. I mean, my account here is me, in all but name. It’s a pseudonym, not a “fake account”; all info, knowledge, thoughts are the same as you would get from me face-to-face. Where-as others create entire fake lives.

Welcome back to the real world :-)

What is that from? It feels vaguely familiar, but I can’t place it...

Yeah.

Talking of names, I’ve always wondered how do you pronounce “Jalopnik”?

Quite possibly. Electric cars pre-date that article.

Now that’s an angle I hadn’t thought of, or heard of before. I like it!

Comment on apocalypse from Idris Elba: “We are cancelling the apocalypse!”

Nah, not even close. Milk takes longer to heat than water (fat content? I dunno...), so it needs well over 2 minutes to become too hot (unless you’ve got a scary beast of a microwave...).

Yup, I’ve had my Weet-Bix with hot milk (2.5 minutes in my weak old microwave) for so long, it just tastes wrong with cold... and brown or raw sugar too, please; none of that white stuff.

Your title is too long:

Constant methane? I did not know that.

The same way we tax everything else: it’s added to the cost (on both vehicle purchase and electricity purchase).

Yup, I’ve been saying the same thing for years. Swappable batteries are the only way EV charging can compete (time-wise) with liquid fuel.
