I dunno, a few bags of popcorn don’t make up for turning over the entire theater and replacing it with new ticket holders (who also buy concessions). An intermission is akin to a table ordering dessert - sure, more money, but not as much as getting them out the door and sitting all new diners.

I have to wonder if theaters hate long movies. In 3 1/2 hours they could fit two audiences into a showing of the 90min Beetlejuice this week, thus doubling their ticket sales. I guess it depends on how full Flower Moon is, but man, so many people are going to skip it due to the length.

Not when your likeness is photographed in a public setting where you have no expectation of privacy and the photo is used in an editorial manner - which is how all of these comic-con photos are being used. Profiting from advertisements has absolutely zero bearing on any of this. Show me where Gizmodo, or a newspaper,…

These Comic-Con photos aren’t stolen, and editorial use is also fair game for other content here. I’m not sure why you think you’ve found some sort of ‘gotcha’ when hundred of other websites freely use content like this? Gawker Media may be bush league, but they do have a legal department.
