Sure, but I never claimed they would be worth anything, just that they may be collectible. He may never get that $400k back, but then again there are some antique cars worth well above that. Time will tell, but as for me, I wouldn’t pay a single dollar for one. They’re hideous.

I agree with you, but let’s be honest - Gawker doesn’t hire journalists, they hire glorified bloggers. The best you’d get from Jezebel is fashion advice on how to avoid an abduction.

And the crowd goes mild.

Yikes. Would Michael Richards even be invited to take part? Kind of hard to not have Kramer, but...you know...the incident...

It’s absurd that we’re even talking about whether someone making $100k can afford a new car.

...in Florida it is now legal for mothers to kill and eat their children, no matter their age

The Cybertruck is likely a bit different than your average new car model though. One day they’ll probably be as collectible as DeLoreans, as the smart money seems to be on Tesla not making too many.

Oh yeah, that rule is rarely enforced but it’s on the books where I live too. That sucks! And there is actually a treaty (or whatever you want to call it) that allows your drivers licenses to be used in just about every other first world country. That’s why I’ve been able to rent a car in Europe, Australia, New

Yeah, we do that here too (Washington State), but it’s rare. Problem is, people think blinking yellow arrow means “go quickly, it’s about to turn red!” and end up speeding through their turn. My neighbor, who moved here from California, had no idea what it was. That’s the problem with state-by-state driving signals

Gotcha, I see what you’re saying now.

We already hold the opposing lane at red though, and we can tell because there’s a green left arrow. Plus it’s already okay to sit in the intersection to turn left when both directions are green, and the motorist decides if they can turn left. I don’t understand how your solution is different or better, but maybe they

Right on red has always been legal in Washington State, until recently when they made SOME busy intersections no right on red. There are big signs saying so, but people aren’t used to looking for them. Either you keep it legal or you make it illegal - this ‘sometimes illegal’ thing doesn’t work.

The fix isn’t stopping right on red, it’s making difficult and comprehensive driver licensing and training required, and harsh penalties for law breakers.

Eliminating the left arrow? So one car can turn per light cycle at a busy intersection? Ever been ninth in line in the left turning lane? That’s a recipe for road rage.

I know, I was just being snarky.

Oh great, now rappers are sampling other songs? What’s next, rock ‘n roll borrowing from the blues?

Wow, does Cadillac have to pay royalties to Range Rover for stealing the Velar’s design? (That said, I find the Velar to be gorgeous, so...)

Why don’t they also come out and say “god made women to be vessels for human life, and we can’t remove them from their only usefulness to men.”

You and I should be friends.

I’d pay to watch Rhea Seehorn read the Sears Catalog.

Better?
