Also, even if it WAS just “easy mode,” so what? When games have an outright, clearly-stated easy mode, so what? I would love for someone to give me a legitimate argument for how someone else playing a game on easy -- online games/multiplayer games notwithstanding, of course -- affects THEIR experience with/enjoyment

To the Crowdfunding Copter!

Speaking of PS2, I got some serious Tenchu vibes from the rooftop and grapple segments of Ronin.  I think it'll be landing in my library shortly after launch.

And buying casino boxes.

someone knows the Deep Kojima Lore!

Chug that copium harder. PC gaming is a joke of ever inflating hardware requirements because devs no longer even TRY to put any effort into fixing things like memory leaks and lack of optimization.

Good luck with your next $5k graphics card purchase in 5 years.

Beef was great and so was Young. Excited to see Jesse portrayed on TV— he was sort of the “moral compass” of TLOU2 and gave the player a much-needed sense of comfort.

pokemon is already a capitalist take on pokemon. the trainer captures a bunch of animals and through exploitation of the animals labor, often to the point of being beaten unconscious, the trainer gains wealth, power, prestige.

Kojima is like Chris Roberts.. both wish they could make film / big television. They can’t.. so they compensated by getting big TV / film actors in their video games when they can.

All of these are Low and Medium settings.  Where are the requirements for the highest settings?

Now that’s some big-brain shit right there.

Seriously what is it with male gamers (TM) and their hate of MJ and red haired women in gaming in general? It seems they have something new to complain about every day.

1 game selling well doesn’t prove anything. It needs to be consistent and it needs to not be widely available elsewhere. Let’s be honest, the Steam crowd isn’t going to jump ship to GamePass for 1 game.

I’m amazed it doesn’t come with a “you should smile more” filter.

This perfectly sums up the entire CP2077 fandom situation in a nutshell:

I’m glad that after 3 years and $120 million dollars they were finally able to make Cyberpunk 2077 a playable video game, I guess. A shame that despite that enormous budget, it still has absolutely nothing new, interesting, or insightful to say about it’s own setting beyond aping the most well-worn settings, stock

Imagine spending more money that Rockstar did on RDR2 and all you could come up with was a mediocre Far Cry.
