The creation of digital storefronts like Steam, Xbox Store and PlayStation Store eventually democratized access for creators breaking physical retail’s lock on game distribution. Publishers were slow to react to this disruption. The AAA publishers did not find a way to leverage the moat that physical retail created in…
“microsoft is one of the most consumer/union friendly companies”
It didn’t have less junk, it just had a use for that junk with its crafting system. I mostly just build weapon repair kits and turn fission batteries into energy cells.
Why would people want a feature that is included in the game to be functional? Is a uh, weird flex.
FUCKING THANK YOU.
If this movie had only cost $150m to make, this wouldn’t even be a disappointing opener. It wouldn’t have been a wild success, but probably would have coasted to profitability eventually. It seems a decent chunk was spent on the de-aging process. They should have just hired Alden Ehrenreich to do the flashback scene.
Yeah I think the real story here is not those maniacs who are trying to play a game like Metal Gear with a mouse & keyboard - though I want to say to those maniacs that I support their right to torture themselves like that - but it does make me wonder exactly how Konami is bringing this game to PC and modern consoles.
Also, he steals french fries.
I hated the crash remakes and crash 4 because the physics felt way off compared to the originals. They broke the most basic system, and it suffered for it.
This! Ultimately I feel crazy for finding TOTK to be boring after a short while, especially with all this “greatest game of all time” business. Sheesh, Zelda fans are really too much!
The issue isn’t the animation style, it’s the tone. Even the brightest Zelda entries have dark undercurrents of loss and ruin. Most Zelda’s are more on the nose about it.
Everyone is saying that Illumination is the worst studio to adapt a Zelda movie, but if you stop and think about for even a minute, you’ll see that they are actually the perfect studio to do it. For one simple reason: Nintendo are control freaks.
At one point someone said “BotW takes the game back to it’s NES roots” and without actually stopping to realize that no, no it doesn’t, people took that quote and ran with it.
I feel the same way. Loved the older games, but BotW wasn't anything special for me. I just couldn't get into it.
I think the BotW games are terrible and it should be self exclamatory if you play games regularly.
I have such a hard time figuring out why this game (and BotW) are games that a vast majority believe to be the godsends of the millennium. Like. They are fine. Just fine. I find better world-building, plot, and even combat in other Zelda titles and games. In BotW you can climb anything....with plenty of dedication…

I find myself aligning wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed in that review about BotW. The game, to me, was a veritable journey into monotony, and I find myself in deep agreement with each critique articulated. We could engage in an infinite debate over the precise numeric rating it deserves, but ultimately,…
I mean people are still giving James Stephanie Sterling shit for giving the last one a 7/10.
