Why would they? They are the ones breaking record sales this year. Xbox is struggling to compete with a 8 year old console.

No offense but the way they portray Arkham Batman as a creep who doesn’t respect civil liberties, maintains the status quo was excellent. His death was deserved. No glory but pathetic.

PlayStation isn’t going anywhere with physical for a while. The Insomniac hack showed that most of spider-Man 1 sales were physical. Even last year it was found that a significant percentage of players are buying physical copies of games.

It is weird because I prefer physical as far as possible but digital is so convenient in the immediate term. I used to switch discs on my console without issue during the PS4 era but now I sigh as I get up and remove the disc and insert the new one.

Just a few hours ago Insomniac said their Devs are getting threats over a lack of spider-Man 2 updates. Gamers suck. 

I’ll probably get it but mostly because I really miss hack n Slash titles. They come so sporadically now.

A very PS2 era kind of state of play which in my opinion is a good thing. A lot of old school looking games. Ronin (graphically weak, but interesting looking combat) and Stellar Blade look better than I expected. DS2 looks insane. 

I disagree about the weenies thing because the "jump scares" were more annoying than scary. It felt like a some Slenderman nonsense. Worst part the game is scarier when they're used sporadically and not as often as they did. 

Honestly, except for Jill, Kupka and the sexy evil lady who turned into Garuda. Most of the cast is really good just not given enough time to be fleshed out. Deon, Joshua and Cid are excellent and IMO Clive is a top 5 FF protag.

Honestly P5R is much more enjoyable the moment you realise the story, it's characters and way it’s told is nonsensical rubbish written to be bold and edgy and angsty without any actual guts. 

It’s only bad when western Devs do it. The Japanese studios can do everything bad and get away with it as a part of being “quirky” or "wacky"

As an Indian who lived in Mumbai, it isn’t weird at all. Most do speak it, maybe not as fluently but well enough.

I’m more surprised they did this so soon after what was a pretty positively received Developer showcase. It feels like they wanted to get some good publicity right before bad

I was quite happy to see the game selling pretty well again digitally over the last 45 days in my country. It was at 15 or 16 on the PS charts. Hopefully it starts to get looked at more positively.

I hate it in the new Zelda’s as well. Busy work meant to pad the length

I’ve though about this a lot and I think the big thing is portrayal. John’s revenge is portrayed as heroic and foolish (if you played RDR1) in the same way Joel’s decision at the hospital (from TLOU1) is portrayed. John is still John when he gets revenge. John also gets the closure that he avenged Arthur. He’s doomed…

The interesting part to me is Abby doesn’t give a damn about the cure. She just wants revenge on the man who killed her father and friends in the Fireflies. In the first game her dad was a nobody. It is only through her eyes that we see her dad as somebody and not just a random person.
