that is horrible and I hate it when comment sections are filled with horny men rather than real engagement with the subject but Calcium Cannons is GOAT term for tits lmao!

Black Flag killed my joy of the franchise. It was so big and empty.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying it for the most part. It is a solid 8.5 (I'm at the Under dark and freed the Gnome slaves). Just hoping to see more depth to the companions who've so far all just been horny, needy and kinda dull (minus Karlach and Shadowheart who are interesting).

I love Sekiro. I still feel beating the final boss first try is my greatest gaming accomplishment. I truly felt like I was in the zone after those initial hours of dying. Definitely Up there with Kos and Sigrun from GOW (2018) in epic boss fights.

I felt it had too much platforming, the first person grapple hooks made me feel ill as someone who suffers from motion sickness. The boss fights were repetitive. The story was given too much emphasis for what was absolute nonsense.

Yes but that's why it is great that you can switch it to Padawan.

I think there are games that do the Souls Combat thing well while offering difficulty settings to scale it to the level of the player. Jedi Survivor was a good example of this.

The problem with RNG in D&D is that failure isn’t interesting.

What helped me a lot is switching of karmic dice. But otherwise I think it is sometimes really irritating how often enemies get crits on your team but your guys will miss 3 91% chances in a row requiring a restart

My big issue with Elden Ring was the moment I got strong magic and found the point at which tough enemies turn back. Just kept spamming magic and killing them like that.

The way Insomniac kick off all their games is truly incredible. Straight into the mechanics and the traversal is always fun. other games that had me hooked like that were TitanFall 2, Returnal and Sekiro.

So I’m watching and helping my brother with BG3 since it is his first RPG of that type. And 20 hours in it is really good when interacting with the world and seeing decisions play out but also the writing is really quite disappointing and same with the Male companions. The writing is too jaunty for me. BG1 & 2 are

I’m re-playing 2 right now and I go 2-3 days without playing and suddenly one night I will blast through 3 hours of story. The characters and story are genuinely incredible and I love the camp interactions which seem so seamless. But, it is terrible to play. Combat is dated, mission structure poor, the riding is too

Regarding Modern God of War: they’re honestly just excellent

I’ll say it is there strongest on every stand point. Best Old Gods Song, best character, best gameplay, best architecture, best gameplay loop, best use of live action (Trench’s OoP bits still beat everything in AW2)

I genuinely feel that most people at this point just don’t care about ownership. The other problem is convenience.

Moral of the story: democracy is a popularity contest and people will always support their faves even if it doesn’t make sense.

I think there are a couple of factors. In games like Mass Effect, The Witcher and BG3 most nudity applies to romantic scenes. All characters are definitively above 18.

If it was a year why not call it Infestation ‘88 (with the apostrophe to emphasise the year?)

I'm pretty sure they said they want to end the producer fiefdoms at Square last year. So I will not keep my hopes up.
