I personally thought the game was extremely average and found it more forgettable than actually bad (maybe that is worst). But whenever I see people trying to give it the “it is amazing and poignant and deep” shit I just lose it.

I cannot comment on games I have not played.
The only games on this list I can truly agree with are GTA IV which was a surprisingly genuine look at the life of an illegal immigrant (I have family who were) and Death Stranding which has an optimistic view of the future.
I agree. Cyberpunk Edgerunners had a lot to say. CP 2077 was bargain bin cyberpunk.
I also think they show that her experiences have made her cagey with her opinions. Unless she really feels the need to interfere, she will not. I love how she talks with Clive though
any article about this game is going to get the purists coming out of the well crying. This game is so FF thematically that I genuinely feel bad for anyone who bought it expecting Game of Thrones. I personally am really enjoying it and am loving the new combat (generally love action games and turn based both).
Same here those trailers are always so bizarre
Alan Wake is still not gonna sell that well. it is a sequel to an old game. The remaster was a disaster in performance and sales. The game looks really cool but I don’t think it will do well until it hits the discount bin or if it gets a 90+.
Kotaku is becoming a lot more like the bad parts of buzzfeed. None of the groundbreaking journalism but all the listicles and hot takes.
Definitely a barebones job but I wasn’t gonna buy it until volume 2 came out with an inevitable bundle.
I grinded on the 4 or 6 giants at Limgrave till I was level 25 and while testing 3 or 4 different weapons and arts at the same time.
I remember reading a Kotaku piece about the FO76 development and one dev called Todd a Seagull because he would come, shit on everything and then leave the mess for someone else to fix.
I don’t know if it is just me but the reds and browns in TOTK look really bad to me. The green and blues pop brilliantly but red just looks really flat.
I was telling my brother this while playing today that the worlds Nintendo creates are probably the most conservative ones I’ve seen. No race really leaves their area except for the odd hylian. Also, I kinda forgot who Prince Sidon was until he did the smile thing. Speaks to how forgettable BOTW and TOTK have felt for…
I think they probably expected more than a 10 year deal for COD which is why they moved ahead. MS also said they may allow bethesda games to go multiplat but the moment the ink was dry acted like they never said that
I saved a ton by unsubbing from both PS Plus and GPU. With the back half of the year being completely stacked with cool looking single player games I no longer need to sub at this point in time
TOTK and ER caused this issue for me. They are too big and lost the wow factor quickly While Sekiro, BB and DeS were excellent because they were extremely focused. If a game is very long then the narrative has to be good enough for it because while I enjoy Gameplay mechanics even the best ones get tiring after 30-40…
I was pretty okay with the remake but Crash 1 was pretty terrible with the new physics. Crash 4 was really bloody floaty and uncomfortable. By the end of the game I still struggled to understand the jump because the speed, height and arc were just so bizarre.
The playstation 5 has not been sold at a loss since the first year.
I think it is a bold decision. FF7R had the gut to change the story of one of gamings all time classics and FFXVI has the guts to change the core of FF while maintaining the essence of FF. Games like DQ and Persona will never have the balls to constantly challenge their mainline and play with different game types and…
