It is even worse than it sounds. The split of X to S consoles seems like 50:50 or a 40:60. The Series S is sold at a heavy loss and will inevitably hold back development of games. It was always a stupid idea to release a second (weaker) version of the console.

The goal is to get movement data. I am sure the game is tracking and selling it.

They disable it for the first mission of the dlc. But then it is available for you throughout the rest. A lot of the map is designed around flying.
