TURTWIG? WTAF! EWWWW! Ugly ass MF dino turtle. Mudkip, Squirtle, Cyndaquil and Rowlet!!
You do know Sony studios hire a decent number of trans people. TLOU features trans characters.
Heck just watch the trailer for Across The Spider-verse. I hate Marvel generally but my God is that trailer art in motion. Animation is crazy in that it can give universes and tell stories no other medium can so I do think that we are right to hold Animation to higher standards both in art and story. Both PiB and…
Odyssey is the only Must have game on an otherwise disappointing Nintendo console.
The Sonic games have no plot but The Sonic movies have good stories. You adapt for the medium not the other way around.
Illumination works because their animation is much cheaper than the other companies and their runtimes are very small. Plus I don't think they hire writers.
I used to think like that too but with actually good video game movies aimed at kids like Sonic, Detective Pikachu, Lego Movie and now DnD I don’t think the “it’s just for kids” excuse works anymore.
Yeah my problem was mostly related to the Harfoots and the macguffin being a driving force for the narrative.
Wasn’t Empire basically Succession?
Sekiro is the only game where I can say the first mini boss took longer and more attempts than the final boss. By the time I beat the SS I felt like I had mastered the game. It truly was a sleek and sublime experience.
Yup. Disliked Elden Ring the moment I entered Caelid and realized the game was gonna be a depressing slog with repetitive bosses, boring crafting and limited "interesting" exploration.
I also think people lost faith In E3. I remember Sony, FromSoft, Ubi, CDPR all releasing games with vastly reduced graphics and gameplay to what was shown in trailers.
Yes but it doesn't help that the map is basically an empty field with very little in between.
This is the problem when Kotaku cherry pick the blog to make it look bad. Apparently the clouds do have exploration purposes.
The dlc was never offered. You paid the money for the base game. You got the base game.
I am constantly astounded by the imagination of sound design. Truly an underappreciated aspect of movie/game design.
I’m in the same place. Except HK and Mario Oddyssey the Switch has been a pretty big disappointment.
This here is why I avoid buying EA/ABK/Ubi/Take-Two games as far as possible. They reward good sales with layoffs.
Yup. They're notorious. I read that same article a year back.
