I was expecting that when we saw the announce trailer years ago. But I’m mostly meh on what I saw in the sequel. A lot hinges on the dungeons being good and having a better variety.

My issue as well. Unless they’re switch ports (MHR) all current console gen PC games are releasing with issues.
LOVE the dock but HATE the joycons.
Botw was marketed for years so it is surprising
Because it gives the ten articles to break down everything shown. Plus the obvious "internet loses its mind over character X"
Leave it. A negative site gets a negative reader base. These kinda players react negatively to everything.
Price increase is inevitable. I think by December 2023- April 2024 we will see it. They have to recoup their Activision money.
The constant fighting. The old games at least allowed you to run away easily. The new engine games have the gangs chase you for ages. The pacing is bad. It gets in the way of an otherwise good narrative.
It is when the game forces me to pass time before the next mission.
Except for 0 these games have some of the worst pacing I’ve seen in modern gaming.
Yup there is a huge chunk of people who are less interested in characters and more interested in LORE and World building. It makes them feel like they are a part of it. Helps them form a community. Personally I’ve reached a point where I find myself completely out of fantasy and most sci-fi for that very reason.
Also Tolkien was accessible at the time and still remains accessible. LOTR is one of the highest selling books of all time since it was first published.
I used to love Sci-fi and fantasy but man the lore and absurd amount of world building ruined it.
Fanbases have gone absolutely nuts. Nerd culture infuses every part of of Social Media and has created a weird herd mentality. I remember seeing it with EEAAO as well.
Yeah i agree but all situations require tact along with honesty. Give it a day or two and then gently bring it up. To bring it up probably within an hour of playing is obviously gonna hurt. At least if you do it after a day or two it will feel like you gave it a fair shake and they would understand.
It hasn't been an excuse since Bloodborne. Dark Souls 3 had a much larger budget. Sekiro was far more linear and smaller. If ER was made by any western developer it would've been demolished for poor performance. FromSoft and Japan in general need to start upping their game technically
TBF when I read it on Polygon I immediately guessed it correctly. It was too obvious.
My “friends” did this to me. I used to love SP action games but they loved MP/sport games so I was constantly told my tastes were weird.
that was sad except for the Titanfall guy who was just an idiot.
Please can we start being harsher with japanese devs wrt to technical quality. They keep getting passes even though teams like FromSoft are literally AAA now.
