After beating and enjoying Rift Apart. I’m now playing DQXI and Vice City. DQ has been very slow and kinda boring so far. Still waiting to see why it’s so highly rated. With P5R and FF7R you could immediately see excellent games.

Being a Sony or Nintendo person before the 360. It became a good reason to buy a PS4 and never go back to Microsoft again. I never had to return a console before the 360 (360 was sent 4 times) and I have not had to since.

Finished Horizon forbidden west and controversial opinion is it’s better than Elden Ring in that it was a lot less repetitive and I liked it’s earnest story and I think Aloy is absolutely phenomenal.

If BOTW had used the WIIU gamepad, they could’ve put a quick equip option or a weapon health bar on it. Stupid nintendo removed all gamepad functionality though to promote the switch (a cheap and mediocre console)

We can blame 2020 for alot but SE knew they messed up. This game is another Anthem and FO76. I mean they couldn’t even bring the first post launch character.

God the first game forever made me hate turn based JRPGS. Starts pretty well but all the characters never move beyond their tropes. The combat got dull and those last 5 chapters were the absolute worst gaming experience in the last 10 years.

The WiiU was excellent. Had a lot of amazing games by this time and Nintendo Selects was an amazing way to try new games. The Switch has been very disappointing in comparison both with games and with behaviour.

6 months to a year after launch. RRoD burnt me hard. Got the Mario Odyssey Switch and that was a mistake with the Joy Cons constantly having syncing issues or otherwise Drift issues. Never buy launch unless you’re in the industry or an idiot
