They bite more than they can chew.

Real question can this company be sustainable if they have old Blizzards penchant for delaying and cancelling games? Or will it be bought out really soon after they release their first game?

This is my big question as well. GamePass still doesn’t make sense with how much it costs, especially when they have to fund another 6-7 studios on top of the 12-15 they currently own. Consoles are sold at a loss, so that means the price of GamePass will have to shoot up in a year or two or as you said they fire most

In the long run Microsoft and Epics crazy acquisitions are going to be detrimental to the industry. The monopoly being created is dangerous.

The Nintendo Fanboy crap has reached new highs this gen. These games as bundle should not cross 35USD. This and the limited release is an excuse to justify the 60 dollar price tag. Nintendo Selects need to come back. Offering the best games for a better price for new players.

Just use an emulator. When fucking Activision can remake 3 classic games from the ground up for 45USD, Nintendo have no bloody right to charge 60 bucks for games that have barely been touched.

Good thing I only own the current gen games. Gave my 360 and the games to my cousin’s who sold the whole thing to buy a laptop or something. Also, I do prefer remakes of gen 1 or 2 games. I think that is something backwards compatibility just doesn’t make sense for. Except for JRPGs most play terribly at this point.

The Outer Worlds is too cynical in general with nothing to say beyond it. It is not smart enough to justify its cynicism especially when Obsidian was bought out by a giant corporation themselves.

It is so sad especially since Arrival and BR2049 had a good use of colors. Even the greys looked vibrant.

Vocal-fry? though I think it is mumble core

Not seen the original but looking at the side by side I would watch Lynch’s adaptation. I love Denis as a director and think Arrival and BR2049 is among the best sci-fi this decade gave but man that trailer was just dull and Timothee chalamet just isn’t that interesting to watch.

this console has truly been a waste of money. There are almost no sales, the third party games play far better on PC or PS4. The exclusives have not been good with the exception of Mario Odyssey. The online system is garbage. No good menu music on start up.

Their is no way they are making money on this. The question is how much are they losing?

Kotaku was one of the bigger advocates for microtransactions and game price increases. Jason Schreier especially was pro price hikes or microtransactions.

Blizzard was always shit with bad practices. Their games were polished and they knew how to hype up fans so they got away with a lot.

Why do people still buy this crap? You don’t get anything new except roster updates/

A poor expansion and a poor season pass overall. It really didn’t live up to the Alan Wake hype they had set up and in doing that didn’t even allow Jesse to be interesting. Plus it was short and too expensive

Yup. The PS3 had some conversion chips that made games backwards compatible but it was too expensive. Rather not have the feature than lose money on something that only the hard core player base will really use.

Exactly! I barely have time to replay PS4 games which I like because there is always something new and sales come so often that the games are cheap to buy.

Not surprising. I did not hear of the game till today. They do it for every Clancy game now. Remember Division 2 email and Breakpoint Bolivia controversy. They are playing a smart game. Clancy is a right-wing author and his games are no different. They just got a lot of Blue lives folks interested.
