Except whole point was that attacks on left directed at Clinton, Pelosi, and other prominent women not based in legitimate criticism of job performance. It just repeating sexist bullshit that originated with Rush Limbaugh being outraged that Clinton announced herself as professional woman who “not stay at home baking

Honestly, this is when media went to hell. Yes, deregulation in ‘90s did loads of damage, but news going 24 hours was big mistake. There not always days when that much news happens. So that time got filled with opinions. And then opinions replaced news, because it takes lot of time, effort, and money to investigate

Me could ask you that same question.

Honestly, biggest problem Democratic party have right now is that when Republicans go fore-bore into smearing prominent woman in party, rank-and-file Democrats happy to line up behind them. Remember how many times you heard Hillary Clinton had problems with “optics” and “likability”? That stuff came from left as often

> A democratic senate will guarantee an opposition incumbent win.

That still might be story for Senate, but House has had tons of Republican retirements, and lots of pretty good Democrats got into race who no one was talking about two years ago. If we had fair elections in this country, Democrats would take house easily. But we not have that, so it going to be pretty big fight.

Honestly, CNN would be thousand times better if it were just Stewart and Chappelle sharing their thoughts on events of day instead of Wolf Blitzer Reads Twitter To Old People, and Let’s Give A PhD and an Illiterate Neo-Nazi Equal Time and Call It A Debate.

Me especially hated that movie in retrospect, because me was in college when it come out and for six months afterwards Doors Greatest Hits was blasting from every single dorm room. It actually made me pine for Bob Marley: Legend

Me often watch it once with kids and once with Mrs. Cookie, and Cookie Jr. has been re-watching first season, so at least half of TV viewing in past few weeks has been Good Place. And it always hold up really well.

Me glad to see actual songwriting process getting more thought than most music biopics. Me hated The Doors (and Doors), but me love unintentional hilarity of scene where they write “Light My Fire.”

“Hey Jim... me think me might have something here...”

Plink

So, you’re telling me if you were meeting your girlfriends’ father for first time, and he pulled out huge gun, your immediate reaction would be, “wow, this guy seem really friendly!” Sure, in hindsight, it turn out to be friendly gesture, but me not entirely convinced author not have at least brief moment of terror at

After some mass shooting or other — there so many me not can remember which — me decided to engage with pro-gun crowd on Twitter, because me legitimately wanted to understand how you can look at classroom full of murdered children and think, “Guns are great! We need more of this!”

Huh. It’s as if there was some massive series of historical events that impacted African-Americans negatively, which white “me not a racist but...” racists like yourself are desperate to ignore while flogging your “BLACK ON BLACK CRIME!!!!!” nonsense.

Me not sure flogging “black on black crime” canard really belong in same statement as “what racism have to do with this” and “let’s be honest.”

Yeah, this have to be one of funniest episodes of show. Me also not can stop laughing at “Fartin Van Buren.”

Besides having some terrific acting moments and yet another impressive plot turnaround, me laughed harder at this episode than me have at anything in long time.

No, dessert. You had it right first time. Moral dessert would be tasty reward you get for being good, like cookie. Moral desert would be place without morals, like Florida.

At one point, me thought big final reveal would be that Fake Good Place was designed to be test to see if they could get better, and glimpses we see of Bad Place were just for show to motivate them (since early on we only get audio of screams, or vivid descriptions, but we not have ever actually seen Bad Place). But

Given how much of enjoyment of this show comes from endless succession of left-field plot twists, me surprised at how rewatchable early episodes are.

That fantastic callback!
