I believe that may actually be an old Quarter Midget racer. It certainly got my attention
A favourite from my bookshelf (despite being a little harsh on some cars)

I’m not sure what it will take to bring NASCAR back to where it was 10 years ago; if the Frances want out, it’s obvious that they don’t know either....

I’m still scratching my head with that one. I’m guessing Reiter Engineering incorporated the roll cage as a bolt on item (like the roll hoops on a “normal” X-Bow).
The X-Bow GT4 is the the standard carbon tub, with aluminum rear subframe, so I’d argue that it was the first carbon chassis GT4 racer, albeit with added panels courtesy of Reiter Engineering.
The explosive bolt technology employed in fighter jet canopies has been utilized in Automotive manufacturing; The Mercedes AMG SLS has a derivative version as an emergency exit system on the doors, in case of an incident where there car has the misfortune of ending up on its roof. It could theoretically work in F1 too
Indy car racing is dangerous enough without him.
Weird?
