Toyota New Zealand have been doing this for decades. Given that they have a stranglehold on the rental car market here, they take the ex-rentals run them through their old assembly plant, refurbish them and sell them with a new 3 year warranty called ‘signature class.’ They also have a programme where they do the same

I don’t really care what it’s called, if you goto monster truck show/race (and you should at least once in your life) and don’t have a ridiculously fun time, you are probably mostly dead inside.

Hell, Hockey is just a street fight with knives on your feet.”

... says the guy that has never played hockey.

Agreed about the Citroen. First thing I thought of when reading this list. The Saxo VTS is a car I’d love to own, even today. It’s one of the best, if not the best, cheap low weight hot hatches of the 90s. Clean ones are appreciating in value quite a lot already.

1) Citroen Saxo VTS 16v is a cheaper 106 GTi, and let me tell you, both of them were sublime.

Last year in Austin before the F1 race, my wife and I drove up to meet our fellow Jalops, and some of the writers for the site. We ended up hanging out and sharing a table with a two really cool young men, and about 30 minutes into our conversation, I realized they were an item.

I’m a cisgender, white, straight, able-bodied male married to a woman.  I love cars, I love racing.  And I positively adore this article.  I hate injustice with every fiber of my being, and I would absolutely love to support this cause/group.  Thank you for writing this article and sharing it, I will try to find a way

Jalopnik was probably the first car website I remember bringing up the discussion about diversity and inclusion in car culture. It’s one of the reasons I like this website so much, and I’m proud to show it to the world everyday. I know the article isn’t about Jalopnik, but hat tip to you guys for the amazing work

A bridge will accelerate wind above and below its deck. 150' is not a lot of clearance in a small plane (for a non-stunt pilot). A quick vertical draft could have sent him into the water or the bridge deck. I agree that deck would have shrugged off a small plane, but they sure as hell would close the bridge to inspect

Where are all the stars for this?  It should be COTD, at least to this middle aged gtaV player.

He needs to fly under 10 more bridges if he wants to beat today’s GTA challenge.

What IP property was used by the photographer?

...because they took his photos and used them in an advertisement without compensating him? Did you read the article?

You must have missed this:

Lost?  You should see the other guy. And by guy I mean pedestrian.

I saidhop in.”

Racing is a drop in the bucket compared to commuter cars, shipping, airliners, factories, and power plants. The amount of pollution put out by her car in less than 4 seconds is negligible in the grand scheme of things. Lighten up.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honda’s essentially being forced to do so, while Chevy was seemingly reluctant to do so.

The NSX race car also drops the hybrid powertrain doesn’t it? At this point, isn’t it pretty much a silhouette racer*?
