As others have said, that’s kind of the whole point of this genre, this game probably isn’t for you.

In this same vein? It should be, yes. Again, it’s the box art for a video game, if you really want to go down the “video games cause violence” route then you’re going to find a lot of justified resistance. And if you don’t want to go down that route then your original point means nothing.

It is Jill in the first image, that’s not the default version of the game and it includes the DLC where Jill features much more. Given she’s a huge part of the franchise, I think that gets a pass. It is Sheva on the second though.

Supporting violence is bad, pretending that a video game cover does that when video games have show violence against every type of person on the planet (and typically not Western White) is incredibly disingenous.

Except the flag isn’t even connected with the military. The flag/shirt are basically very Japanese-looking and that’s apparently enough to warrant being “painful” for people to look at. It’s absolutely ridiculous and petty. It is possible for people to be offended for no good reason and they shouldn’t expect to be

I, like a lot of people seemingly, take issue with your perspective here. In 2018 more than ever, surely, it’s worth remembering that people are human and the ideals of “good” and “evil” are largely useless. I’d much prefer the people of the game be humanised (you know, because they were human?) rather than faceless

Didn’t suggest that’s not what it is - it very much is, but there’s still a lot to do. I only recently quit the game but between Island Expeditions, Warfronts, Arena, BGs, Raiding (4 tiers), Mythic+ there’s a LOT to do. All in the name of the same goal yes, but it’s still most of the games content.

The end game of WoW is substantially bigger than the levelling process, it’s not even close.

And his personal goal was to hit 2 million achievement points...

I started doing it as a hobby whilst I was in my first year of University. In the 3 years of my degree it grew and grew and by the time I was due to graduate it was earning me more than any regular full time job I was going to get and since I hadn’t loved my degree and didn’t want to pursue it, I figured I’ll go for

The only problem I have with XIII is the oppressive linearity, but that was largely fixed with the second and the great combat carries me through anyway. I loved Lightning too, which helped.

The XIII trio and VIII are my two favourite Final Fantasy games, I don’t know if I’m being contrary on purpose but for some reason they’re the ones that stick with me. Absolute travesty that VIII isn’t part of that classic collection, by the by.

Unless it’s changed since I was a kid, we never really had the divide at all in the UK. We had the Cubs and then the Scouts, all gender inclusive, and you moved from the former to the latter when you hit a certain age.

It’s not at all semantics, “#1 franchise” has a very literal and obvious meaning. I completely agree with your sentiment though and think their handling of everything has been utterly ridiculous, wouldn’t suggest otherwise. Still think all they needed was a little title screen and people would be a lot calmer, but no

Diablo isn’t close to their #1 franchise, at the very least Warcraft and Overwatch are bigger these days.

Blizzard aren’t even developing this though?

It’s literally mentioned in the article.

That would be a really weird assumption.

Eh? If you’re a small streamer you’re a small streamer, nobody actually cares because 99.99% of streamers are “small”.

Is this a serious comment? How is it sexist? Ageist, sure, but sexist?
