Finished all of it across the weekend and really, really enjoyed it, wish Netflix would put stuff of this calibre out a little bit more. Episode 6 is a masterpiece.

It’s definitely a family drama with a horror twist to it rather than the other way around, but even still as a huge horror fan (particularly slowburn horror) I loved it and think it’s one of the best things Netflix has ever produced. Didn’t have the problems with the ending that you seem to however, so mileage may…
WoW was pushing out terrible expansions long before Activision got involved and the last one (Legion) was regarded by most people to be one of the best the game has ever had.
I really don’t believe snooping around and trying to block your kids is the right way to do anything. I get the impulse to do so, but, as with sex and basically anything else, teaching abstinence really isn’t effective at all. Teaching them the harms of what they’re doing and actually educating them is the better…
These both seem like pretty bad examples. In the first one the way the waves hit the shore then instantly disappear is really jarring and not at all realistic, and in the second the character has a large wave wash over him and yet absolutely nothing happens to either him or the wave.
Eh? Compared to the VAST majority of memes these have a very clear amount of effort in.
Seriously? I don’t see how this is even slightly cringey. Wouldn’t expect the average person on the street to know about Elder Scrolls at all, and nothing cringey actually happened.
I’m surprised about the reactions to corn on pizza - is it a gap in the US pizza market? It’s pretty common over here in the UK.
He didn’t even mention the Xbox, how can you be so sensitive about a games console brand that doesn’t care about you?
I absolutely instantly read “fidelity” as “graphical fidelity” when in this sort of context so aye, you have a fair point.
That’s not at all suggested by that line. The graphical fidelity is increased, he makes no mention of faithfulness.
I may work on Youtube rather than Twitch but the principles apply - when somebody asks me what they should do to be succesful/have a career on the platform my first piece of advice is always... don’t. It’s going to get worse and worse as the current generations of teens grow up thinking it’s a viable career when…
Literally in the last month a woman has been sentenced to jail for making up a rape story, and there’s been several examples just this year. Of course the vast majority of time it’s the truth and everything should be done to investigate the case, but approaching ANY case with the idea that you’re going to believe one…
Why should the same principle not apply to all walks of life? Being accused of something doesn’t mean he did it, we’ve seen false accusations in the past and somebodys career shouldn’t be risked on the word of one person. As soon as evidence is presented, things change.
It’s my favourite FF game of all time, how very dare you.
I agree, the whole “innocent ‘til proven guilty” thing seems sort of important to a justice system.
It’s not a typo, click the link.

Almost like that bit was added in an update, as you can see from the word “update”.
I don’t think you can blame an independent publication for how something is promoted, but I digress, it’s still no different than any other actual sport. This is part and parcel of competitive play.
