Whilst it does take a million years to build a following unless you strike it lucky, you can definitely get started on a pretty low budget. A Snowball mic and a £30 webcam is more than enough for most people.

Right, but all this happens in regular sports too, consistently and at much more dramatic levels. My point isn’t that it’s fine or good for either, but that it’s got absolutely no bearing on e-sports equivalency with normal sports.

How does esports promote any of those things? This is one jersey, by one team. I didn’t see any unsportsman behaviour, trash talking or immature design at the biggest esport tournament on the planet (IE the International). Not like real sports aren’t absolutely filled with unsportsmanlike behaviour and trash talking

Doesn’t like she has any drive for or desire to do any of the actual... politician parts of the campaign.

Sorry what I mean is: What responsibility could EA possibly have here that could feasibly be pursued in court? I realise they’re now being sued, but it’s going to fall flat, because it’s frivolous at best.

What responsibilty could EA possibly have here?

You’ll probably get some kickback on this, but I played the original Resident Evil when I was about 6 or so and it fucked me up for weeks. I would say Dark Souls isn’t so much a horror game though, it has some spooky imagery but I do think it’s probably less effecting.

Really interesting article, thanks. I’m glad that bodybuilding is slowly turning back to that more classical aesthetic even if the likes of the Olympia are always going to be about absolutely gigantic proportions. Surprised steroids didn’t come up a bit more since they’re still a hot topic these days after what

Trust me, PVE is not too easy, if anything the scaling is out of whack and desperately needs rebalancing for those of us at max level. You’re strong until 115 when Legion legendaries get deactivated and you suddenly feel a huge drop in secondary stats.

I can’t get past the fact that your website looks like something I’d have made in 2002.

People are more than aware of when others are giving a fake apology, that they’re trying to spin it in a way that it’s not their fault... time and time again we see people mess up and it makes things worse for them - just own up to your god damn mistakes and vow to never do it again, people will have more respect for

So turn it off?

Why don’t you turn that frizzown upside-dizzity?

Starring this because of how wonderfully predictable this comment was. Whether it’s fat Pikachu or stuff like this, some people always prefer the stuff on the left.

It’s definitely not a myth. Some people are naturally more gifted at certain things than others, you can overcome this with lots of hard work, of course, but talent that works equally hard will still usually be better.

Dark Souls is a brilliant game, but the graphical fidelity is not one of the reasons.

It looks absolutely terrible.

Not at all, no. They’ve been subject to boos and verbal abuse, I don’t blame them for wanting to get their own back. It’s immature, sure, but I understand the impulse.

I think you’re looking far to into something that isn’t there. The crowd were being idiots, they got a little payback, yes it sucks for the people watching at home but I don’t blame the competitors at all.

Disrespectful to the people there? Respect is earned, and given how they behaved for the entire bloody tournament, they earned none.
