THIS IS WHAT I’VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD. The whole “thing” about that baby was that she aged at like 5x normal human speed. Just hire a gorgeous toddler as the 2 day old baby and it would have been fine. No creepy CGI or animatronic doll needed.

I know! I absolutely love it. I dvr it and watch in the morning, and I’m sure my neighbors are tired of my raucous laughter at 6:30 am, but I don’t even care.

That is the BEST show and that doll is so fucking funny. My kids and I have been laughing about it for days.

Ugh I hate that I even know this, but words matter. The name Renesmee isn’t inexplicable. It’s just Edward and Bella’s mother’s names smooshed together. I also hate that while Meyer may not be a good writer, the hate directed at her silly stories is so damn misogynistic at it's core. 

Calling it “masturbation” has always bothered me as well. It’s probably the most disturbing moment in the film because it’s exactly what you said-mutilation. 

I wish that people would stop talking about Regan stabbing herself in the vagina with a crucifix as a masturbation scene—it’s not—it’s a mutilation scene.
