Or when there’s a crash on the causeway, or Mace Boulevard, or when nobody wants to merge at 113 and 80...

I’m from Davis and I don’t even like traffic on the causeway and traffic in Sacramento. I couldn’t deal with the Bay every day. I just moved to Dallas where they deal with traffic by building a new loop freeway every five years....

My 1989 Thunderbird has it, and it doesn’t use gel. It’s got a small actuator in there that flips the glass. It’s got dial for sensitivity on the bottom. It works rather well.

Beige only works for stripes.

Thanks for the reply. I knew the history had to be longer than that, but I’m not as familiar with trucks. I just wanted to point out to the other guy that cabovers, even in their current iteration, aren’t new.

You realize the United States has had cabover trucks for a lot longer than 20 years right?

Did they eat it?

I don’t see that happening considering they obviously have the ability to defend themselves. Imagine that.

I thought schools and workplaces were “gun free zones”?

You mean like liberal anti gun politicians and celebrities, who also hire armed bodyguards to keep themselves safe? Hypocrites.

Could it be that the baseball shooting was ended by good guys with guns?

Wasn’t that charity baseball shooting ended by good guys with guns?

So he could protect his child from people who don’t care about laws? Could it be that he had other places to be that day? Perhaps he was even a member of law enforcement, or the military? You know these people have kids too, right?

The deterrent is that criminals don’t know who is carrying or not. The idea is that they think twice before robbing/raping/mugging/etc because they don’t know which victims, if any, are armed.

To you and the 12 people who starred your post. What AK47?

Note that government buildings have armed guards. Do you have armed guards in close proximity to you at all times?

Because murders never happen in Chicago, right?

Maybe if we had laws against murdering people it would have stopped this.

Oh, wait.

Lefties unite. I like having my dominant hand on the wheel at all times while shifting, especially while doing spirited driving. I feel like steering inputs require a lot more fine motor control than throwing a shifter around.

Ford: Has a better idea.
