My dad had one of these when new. I always liked the body style. Those seats had adjustable side bolsters that could actually move in to hold you tight (still not sure why more performance cars today have not made these adjustable.)

Anecdotally I recall those mazda gearboxes weren’t terribly strong for this application, but I always wanted to drive one out of curiosity. I appreciate that Ford was doing something different with these big coupes (see previous gen with the turbo 2.3 as well) which felt quite innovative at the time. For 1989 the…
Oh my sweet innocent child. Where have you been the past 4 years?
Its nice to see to a the prices going up. I went to high school with a guy who owned a fleet of these Super Coupes and a very rare Cougar XR7 Stick Variant. Dumbass blew a lot of them up because he liked to do donuts and his engine rebuilder wasnt that great.
I have literally never been frustrated by the rotary gear selector in our Explorer. Having Park at the full left position, and Drive at the full right position, allows for you to quickly spin the dial to the end stop in either direction to put in P or D. It’s really not that hard to find R. 99% of the time you are…
Since introduction I’ve thought the Maverick would be perfect if it had a COLUMN shifter and a front bench seat with an armrest/console configuration like my 2002 Taurus had. Regular folding armrest, but the center seat section was hinged forward and flipped out to become a console with cubbies and drink holders.…
All trucks should have column shifters*
Yeah it’s not like wine at all.
I used when driving through the Mountain West.
This thing can handle pretty big peak boost. The one in the base wagoneer has the 420hp on 87 octane and 20 psi on the turbo. Why make it have lower peak power? Just press the go pedal less.
Really surprised that Rocky Road is so far down the list.
And that Salted Carmel is so high. Possibly the only flavor more disgusting than Birthday Cake.
“The best part is, all that cash back literally costs me nothing as I haven’t paid a dime of interest in 15 years or so.”
ok but who are we to....

Grocery stores tend to do a lot better at employee retention than fast food though. I’ve been shopping at the same grocery store for the last 15 years, and I know the guy and lady who work the deli/meat counter on a first name basis. They got a new guy like 5 years ago and he’s still here.
Okay, and you said “that may be true in some places” so what are we debating here, really?
Never accused anyone of being lazy or incompetent. Just saying this added an unnecessary task and another source of contaminant risk. And if someone took shortcuts in cleaning the slicer, I’d understand because it’s hardly simple or straight forward. But all that said, adding another trust issue isn’t compelling me to…
It’s deli meat. If it’s ordinary ham/salami/turkey coming from the plant then slicing at the counter does nothing except look good. This is just foolishness on Subway’s part.
I know Jersey Mike’s, I served with Jersey Mike’s, and you Sir, are no Jersey Mike’s.
