Pretty roomy, really.
Pretty roomy, really.
I think it was too much of a wagon for 2005 but not 2015. Have you seen the new Lexus RX, Nissan Pathfinder, or Lincoln MKX? The SRX probably has more ground clearance. Id way rather have the original SRXs Sigma underpinnings over any of those front drive bore fests.
I think the original SRX was an excellent car ahead of its time. The Sigma based RWD SRX was miles ahead of the Equinox based one. They need something like that now.
When I was in high school I was leaving the parking lot in my 4.6L GT behind a Ford Escape. Well the Ford Escape driver stomps on the gas and does a front wheel peel while pulling out onto the street. Just so happened there was an officer who was listening and turned his head just to see me leave after the Escape. Of…
Almost too nice to be sideswiped in a parking lot
1996 Cougar XR-7, comfortable interior, rear wheel drive, IRS, reliable drivetrain....
And its $2000.

Wrong, there are no F-150 crew cabs until the 2001 model year. The crew cab was only available on the F-350.
(not counting aftermarket conversions made by companies like Centurion which cut and welded cabs and frames to make things like half ton crew cabs and four door Broncos)
No, because Ford never made an F-150 crew cab until the tenth generation (1997-2003).
They already made fun of it, its the same as the new Vauxhall Viva
There really are better options in the modular transmissions, especially the 05+ 3650.
Like a 4.6L and an AOD? Would probably be fine as long as the TV cable was adjusted. A 4R70W is better though, except for the computer controls. I think that '91 Town Car was an AOD, not sure though. Could have been an AOD-E.
Opens up some creative transmission options. You can use a factory Thunderbird SC M5R2 for example and the shifter is in the perfect location for MN12/FN10 cars. You can also build drag cars with C6 transmissions...
'91 Town Car had the first mod motor, and the only year of a mod motor with a Windsor bell housing. The '90 Town Car was the first of that body-style and the last to have a 302.
It depends on the induction. The 2bbl one was 300hp, the 4bbl was 325 hp, and the M-code 3x 2bbl model was 345hp. Probably somewhere in the low-mid 200s measured on a dyno, but I'm sure the torque is huge.
Whats wrong with Jeremiah Johnson? Its got a 93% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
My parked car was sideswiped one time in front of my house by a young man on methamphetamine attempting to drive his Grand Cherokee down the street in reverse. He left for about 15 minutes and came back about the same time as the police arrived, probably going home to hide something. He had no insurance or even a…
Now if Henry Ford himself walked into the courtroom...
Saw this on KCRA last night, what a fool. Also, yeah Davis!
None of those people were accused of being 'assholes' in journalistic media regardless of their color. Whether or not Jeremy Clarkson is an asshole is completely unrelated to his skin pigmentation.
Its got nothing to do with race or gender. Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chapelle and Chris Rock are equally "abrasive", "non-PC", and "edgy." That doesn't mean that anyone is an asshole.
Raphael: I used to look at that Corvair every day across the street from DHS. I had a class on that side of the library and the Corvair was always there. I'm sure you've heard it before, the thing sounds awesome.
I spent most of my high school time in the DHS auto shop.
What year did you graduate? I was class of 2011.
