Looks like a cross between a Civic and an 89-93 MN12 Thunderbird...

The Mach1s had a real deal shaker scoop and a sub-5s 0-60. I own a 2004 GT and its still not that slow (5.4 to 60). The Cobras had afro-engineered MN12 IRS rear subframes and handled reasonably well, much better than comparable F-bodies.

Carroll.... hes male.

The only problem with the Evos are the FWD proportions. Make it a new Probe. Please no FWD Mustangs, please!

The Thunderbird SC was the best handling car on the list and the only affordable one with rear wheel drive and an IRS...

Holy shit thats a great deal for a decent sporty compact. Its totally opposite from the Stealth but still really cool.

Well I don't necessarily blame Jalopnik or Tom. I mean he is a great classic car enthusiast and I'm glad he won the writing contest for his position. However I think there is a base knowledge of things a car enthusiast should know no matter what their background. Thunderbird is one of the longest running nameplates

See what I mean! There are a few cases documented on the Thunderbird Cougar Club of America of smog techs pulling the car with its front wheels on the smog dyno and nearly driving into the wall. Even Jalopnik's Tom Joslin confused it for being front wheel drive in an embarrassing post a couple months ago. I think that

Plymouth Laser was always my favorite of the 3.

The 1989 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe

Everyone remembers DSMs, the Stealth and Avenger? Not so much.

x2

I didn't remember the song until I heard it yesterday, I was listening to the album to hear Fox on the Run lol.

lmao listened to that album yesterday for the first time in forever, that made me laugh.

G8 GXP, nice car. Like most of the members of this site, I'm jelly. Politically I'm a fiscal conservative and a social libertarian.

Was going to say that, its the best engine choice too. 415HP twin turbo Inline 6? Fuck yeah.

By the way, I drive a 2004 Ford Mustang GT (5M), a 1989 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 (5M), and a 1989 Ford Thunderbird (4A, soon to be 5M). Not sure if that indicates my political leanings at all...

I don't care about Frank Luntz, I care about what makes sense. I don't care about what the party says either...

Thats cool, I live in a city that's 100% democratic, you know, because everyone can vote...

My dad was one of the first people to buy a 1984 Bronco II when they came out in 1983 and he drove the hell out of it. The real reason it was roll prone is because they put Firestone P215 passenger car tires on it from the factory that were just as prone to blowouts as the ones they put in the Explorer 15 years later.
